i know blur when i see it, this definetly inst it, i can literally see the pixels, if it was blur i wouldnt be seeing much of anything, like in hollow knight for example
So you're trying to say there is no depth of field effect?
i guess? maybe if its meant to be there it might be whats missing
It is depth of field blur, but I agree the background quality doesn't look great.
"The video focuses on how our timeline integrates with all of our custom frameworks (animation, art pipeline, visual effects, camera, depth of field, camera shakes, particles, etc etc) and how easy it is to iterate on multiple shots (spanning across multiple scenes) and do all of the editing right in engine."
but i dont remember ori 1 having pixelated backgrounds, it must be some sort of depth of field error then

Honestly I would like to have an option to turn off all the DoF altogether.
when done right it doenst look that pixelated though, look at hollow knight for example, their backgrounds are all blurred yet they still look good, this has to be some sort of error
