Xenoblade Chronicles X made me think about NGS
Been playing the re-release/definitive edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X and while playing I just kept thinking this is sort of what I wanted the NGS expansion to be. The open zones/large map areas to be like this, the larger space the freedom to wander about quite far with no barriers, cause NGS zones have those walls they block wandering to the edges and makes me feel confined when I see them coming up.

While I wish NGS can take some notes, dunno if the ones in charge would go that direction.

But it'd be cool. Make those static animal props in the world interactive. More verticality design landmarks like the Retem mushroom but with more floors and more holes. M.A.R.S. allowed to fly or bring back A.I.S's as replacement/upgrade.

People have made this comparison several times in the last couple of years. While both games have a weak story, Xenoblade put the world together a bit better than NGS. While lots of the world in both games feels kind of meaningless, Xenoblade X's Planet Mira feels a lot less empty/pointless than Halphia.

Gameplay-wise, NGS beats Xenoblade X, as the general gameplay just feels like having Overdrive active all the time(something you can only do towards the late game of X).

Both games have their strengths and weaknesses, and I personally play both for completely different reasons.

If Monolithsoft would just stop being dumb and move their games to PC, Xenoblade would be so much better, and they could make an actual Xenoblade MMO, since it has all the makings of one(without actually being one). Heck, playing the original Xenoblade X on both Wii U and Emulator, merely playing the game on 60 FPS REEEEEEALLY amps up the experience as a whole, as playing locked on 30 FPS does the game such a disservice.

Is Xenosaga good?

And was Xenoblade 1 like PSO1?

Nintendo owns 100% of Monolithsoft, so yeah, not gonna happen, only if nintendo would port their main games to PC and well seeing as valve have steam deck why would you buy a switch if nintendo started to port their games

The Steam Deck isn't a video game console and not for the same audience.

Just because its not a locked console like xbox/ps5/switch it doesnt mean its not a console, same with all the chinese portable consoles

Dont know what you talking about a lot of people use the Deck as a console emulator, I mean I want one because of that, a Deck or a chinese one, I had the Anbernic rg505 but I sold because I really want one in the shape of a gameboy color that can run at least WiiU games
