I'd be in favor of them releasing past games on Steam - even the really old ones. Phantasy Star IV was a fantastic game. ;) it'd be an instant buy, especially if it was some mind of upgraded version.
That's nice but it's just emulated versions.
And to be honest those "remakes" are pretty low budget so even fans of the classics wouldn't really buy them.
You're right, Sega would pull a SoR R here if we continue with that.
