At least, it will be less boring to level up.
Guess, those N-cube exp leveling before at lv45 cap rolled over? lol.
BUT I still have 7 other classes to level to 60.
"Sega we want something to do ! "
Sega:
"Lets make them skip most of the leveling."
Didnt log in yet but this already is setting up some flags.
The "immediate level up to 54" was a single quest that all you needed to do was talk to some guy, that granted 10mil exp, so immediately to level 54 if you were already level 45, but otherwise not quite there. I blew that exp on less leveled classes, though probably shouldn't have.
Running around like headless chicken endlessly killing the same endlessly respawning mobs is soul crushingly boring.
Skipping 10 levels is a good thing.
Skipping 10 levels is an endorsement of not bothering to produce progressive content.
I wouldn't call that a good thing per se..
Which is it that you guys want?
Levels feel kind of like a formality more than anything, like it exists only as a way to section gear level off from each other.
Skill points aren't tied to levels, stats are not really tied to levels all that much, if gear weren't restricted by levels it would have no real point.
It just feels like the player growth dynamics in PSO2NG are so heavily weighted towards slots on weapons/armor that everything else is just kind of a farce at times.
