Don't use the PSO2 auction house you can get banned per terms.

This is thread for clarity and needs to be stood behind all players of PSO2.

Rule 11 virtual currency

(i) transfers of Virtual Items are strictly prohibited (including between different products)

Using the auction house to transfer your item to another player can get you banned even if Sega has implemented as way for you to do so in-game.

This means you can not trade PSO2 items/currency for PSO2 NGS items/currency.

Or
Per vague terms you can't even trade Pso2 items for Pso2 currency or NGS items for NGS currency because per terms they could in fact ban you if they felt like it.

Please upvote so moderator from Sega can clarify as I am sure there were many victims. Pso2 and NGS considered same product or different.

The only way you can get banned using the Market on either side of the game is if someone who obtained meseta through RMT buys something of yours.

Just another example of how bad Segas wording is in their ToS.

They wont ban you for it because being able to use the market is the only thing that makes Premium relevant. So yeah a rule like that would directky affec Segas money income in a negative way and they wont do that.

Getting banned for Real life money trade is bannable in any MMO. You cant sell stuff you dont own ya know.

Selling stuff ingame with Segas own currency (Meseta) is a different story. You sold stuff you dont own but within Segas own currency loop. That means in the end you didnt sell it its still owned by Sega but not you anymore.

Why am I not banned then? I've made so many billions in base pso2 and I'm still not banned. Play the game, farm for camos, farm Cradle, make God units, sell on the shop. Hell, I have less than 1m in base now because of all the stuff I bought. You won't get banned. This game wouldn't exist if your post was the actual case because it implies that every single person who ever traded on the shop got banned and that might as well be 100% of the playerbase. Nobody would be playing this game anymore.

Just don't RMT or buy something from an RMTer and you won't get banned. Because RMT is against ToS in every single MMO ever made and if you're not aware of that, then this must be your first MMO ever. Imagine banning your entire playerbase because they traded on an auction house without using RMT. No MMO has ever done that and no MMO will ever do that.

what you outline Pertains ONLY to using player shops as a mean to tranfer an item or meseta from one account to another..

So this Doesnt apply to anyone, who isnt already violating the TOS by having multiple accounts (thus would have a reason to transfer items from one account to another)

Or is either farming for RMT purposes or buying from RMTS..

This looks more like a situation where your mad because you cant use multiple accounts to exploit the game to take shortcuts..

Think about it... you can make 104k a day per account from fragments, reactors and snoal alone... Then you add in redboxes, imagine making a new account every day,, running all the red boxes and cash world items... i dont know the exact amount from redboxes... but lets just say 3 million... so thats 3 milion new meseta being created into the economy daily.. PER PERSON ENGAGING IN IT...

You want to see hyper inflation, where eveyone is either forced to buy meseta from the rmts or forever grind to get something that should not be expensive... This is a GREAT way to create a situation for it to happen.

The issue is sega knows the rate of meseta being created far out paces the rate of it being destroyed.. (which is common for most mmorpgs)... so inflation is entirely normal, however the rate at which it occours can be controled. and thats exactally what sega is doing

If you put up an item for 40 million meseta to just have extra storage and someone buys that. YOU ARE BANNED, because Sega deemed you with doing RMT by no fault of your own. You did not use logic just an opinion.

How do you have a full storage? Have you never bought material storage once? Do you hoard everything? Do you not make use of character storage?

The game gives you quite a bit of space, and unless you're squeaking by and using personal shop passes rather than premium, you should have more than enough space for everything.

Theoretically yes, but in practice, it's all but impossible to determine the nature of any sale. So unless someone literally admitted to SEGA of doing something like this, I find it highly unlikely anyone would be punished for it. Since you'd have to prove intent over something that happens legally anyway.
