Darkweave / Atlas EX +35 8 slot and 5 slot units with 150 Attack Powers and you reach 5k Attack Power.
There are people who got 7.000 Attack Power rofl.
It's just insane to reach that high AP.
Then they could go play a different quest, there are a ton of them in the game. If they want to play a specific Urgent Quest, then they can go and get themselves a trigger.
I'm one of those that can clear in JP. Can't carry though. The 2 death limit means no one can actually carry because if your dead weight dies on their own you're hosed if they pop a half doll and get themselves killed again. Fortunately, on JP expert players generally know to just stay down until someone else feels comfortable reviving you so that's less of an issue.
Still not a guaranteed clear there with randoms, even on expert, but at least on there basically everyone makes it to the light/dark phase when playing on expert. If people here are trying to run it with 11* units I'm willing to bet there's tons of timing out before it even "gets serious" assuming people aren't dying like flies.
I think the players that are in this boat don't have the medals and or know how to find public triggers. I thought of the idea that could of been done since it would be something doable but thinking about it more this game was developed for JP and most likely didn't have a "new player campaign" and didn't have a sequel coming soon with new players hopping on for a bit so it wasn't worth the development time. So it's easier to paste it as a new UQ than to make a side option like Malevolent Void but implement both options as single run only. (Because again the boss fight is almost exactly the same with literally the same exact announcement)
But anyway, yea. People should be able to find public triggers for Face of the Abyss pretty often or at least on Ship 2.
I do disagree on not having difficult content to work towards though which seemed to be stated as well.
We had like "37 seconds" left when we finally defeated it.
We used tree buff and drink for damage, used food items that buff damage a tiny bit while making sure we have shifta on ourselves to keep our DPS going good using Cras series weapons which is the top weapon.
As far as we assured with ourselves we did a no hit run or at least that is what we believe.
Its such a fun and satisfying experience to put everything that we invested into our main class to defeat this endgame boss that marks the end of PSO2 since now there is nothing left to do in PSO2 till New Genesis finally launch.
This level 200 boss is for endgame players as the focus is challenge for achievement and I guess bragging rights that your "Endgame". Public is optional but I guess its more for folks with friends since randoms don't have a plan while with friends your actions is more calculated and synergised compared to playing with nobodies.
Anyways... NEW GENESIS BABY! I can't wait!
Because the trigger already on badge shop. And people complaining because how the NA schedule not fit for sea folk to do HTPD. Running that two alongside will defeat the purpose for 12man mpa because no one will run it, they doing HTPD instead. Even if you run it in UQ, mostly its people who not having those Klauz gear that want to farm it and will waste like 30min+ trying hard doing the UH.
Just go to any trigger block in your ship and host it, its better that way and provide 100% host boost.
Let us have our own piece of content, and let the casuals either not do it, or get good enough to do it. After 2016 during the Deus nerf, when a ton of casuals cried that they couldn't beat the 5 minute Deus DPS check and couldn't get Qliphoth weapons as a result, PSO2 kept bending the knee to those inane requests.
Black Dragon got nerfed, and so on. The only things that didn't get nerfed were basically solo content, and a couple outliers such as Scarlet/Crimson triggers.
Ouch, that's a big callout my friend. I got bored of Deus after the nerf, even more so after Qlipoth weapons that make it far too easy.
COUGH! Mobile games... casual players should just play mobile games
