1st fight seemed like it was going to be easy but I didn't know how to get around the barrier so I never tried again.
Now you can run the ultimate quest, surveying the parallel world. Clear it 10 times per daily reset, or basically you can get up to 30 class ex-cubes a day... I personally rarely run it since I already had more than enough class ex-cubes, only reached depth 20.
In the early depths Omega Masquerade puts up the barrier when you use a specific attack (normal attack combo, photon art, active skill, Mag attack, and so on) that deals about 20% damage in total of his overall health. That barrier means the attack you were using no longer works and you are forced to use something else.
This means over time (especially in the later depths) the threshold gets reduced from 20% to 15% and later to 10% so you end up having to cycle through other photon arts and other weapons in order to continue doing damage. In any class you play you can no longer rely on a single photon art or combo to carry you through this fight.
Additionally, for the first 100 depths, 15 star weapons have a damage bonus applied that slowly decreases as you get closer to 100. This allows for a much easier time clearing it if you just want to run through it rather quickly.
Summoner is actually ideal for cheesing the lower depths as you can send your pet after it and then sit in a corner while just occasionally healing the pet and sending it back out. This won't work on higher depths (especially when he starts spawning clones) but it's a quick and cheap way to win in the early ones.
Interesting, so I could technically use my alt who is a Su/Br and chese farm it (thou I would assume slower then an active hero run) just buffing healing and swapping the pet as needed?
Pretty much. You can only be that passive at lower depths though since at higher ones even Summoner has to play more actively to get through things but on low depths throwing your pet at it and eating a snack while keeping an eye on the pet is a completely valid option. A 14* Wanda/Jinga work especially well since it can potentially survive a hit that would KO it which gives you a bit more room for error if you forget to occasionally heal your pet.
Already have 35 passes. Should be able to easily get at least 30 next month with Ranger, Gunner and Phantom (assuming it's with hero).
On the JP version, multiple Ultra Hard difficulty urgent quests drop class excubes for the class the player is using, usually 1 cube per quest, which makes Dark Falz Elder a great source of class cubes (Falz Arms give 1 per run, also note that UH quests requires lvl 85 on both main and subclass).
Also at lvl 95 we get 10 class cubes per additional level up.
That and I wonder how many class cubes we'll get per level once 100 hits too. lol
took me a few attemts anyways, just to get used to the fact that I had to remmember to "hide" when he does the wombo unlike the hero where I just activly dodged everything.
Looking at you Depth 999, "Oh I deal fixed damage that 1-shots everything so sucks to be you Summoners" Masquerade.
I bought a grand precision in preparation but this game is on such a fast pace that by the time I have enough passes they'll be something better out.
Supposedly we might also get the astral soul, aether factor and mana reverie affix items at the recycle shop. I thought it would be a pain to get the later two at the same time anyway.
