Do you have 100 augment transfer passes yet?
Seems like the easiest way to do 8 slot trailblazer.

Start with 8 slot fodder and turn that into trailblazer. Then transfer the 5 godly augments from your old weapon and make 3+5.

The problem I have is that I have nowhere near enough passes from other classes. Seems like every time I get close they raise the level cap.

I only have 46 sofaar, but I only have 3 lvl 90s over 2 of the 3 chars I have (main is hero and my alt has 90 on both techter and Force) but since I mostly play the main I only really buy out the hero one since I have alot of spare cubes, and I'm not super comfortable wit hthe new solo ultimate (only done to 10 sofaar) but they can drop random class cubes aswell

If you have not done it yet, you can stock up on class cubes to trade for Augment Transfer Passes (you will also need 200 Class Cubes in the future in order to craft future fifteen star weapons) by fighting Omega Masquerade on the solo Ultimate Quest that unlocks at Level 80/80. This is a much faster alternative than leveling beyond the level cap if you do not have a stockpile of Tokyo [Gold] and later on Tokyo [Rainbow] Bonus Keys.

I didn't know you could get class ex-cubes there.

1st fight seemed like it was going to be easy but I didn't know how to get around the barrier so I never tried again.

I have about 120 now, earned about 100 prior to the new ultimate quest... But I'm hardcore and my character is at 90 levels across all classes and I play across them. I have about excess 35ish class ex-cubes each across the classes while waiting for the next augment transfer pass to reset so I can trade for more...

Now you can run the ultimate quest, surveying the parallel world. Clear it 10 times per daily reset, or basically you can get up to 30 class ex-cubes a day... I personally rarely run it since I already had more than enough class ex-cubes, only reached depth 20.

you kinda need to run 2 weapons, I usually start with TMG Hero and swap to sword when the shield activates (since I have the elder sword that heals based on damage), thou looking at videos there are people that do the fight without having to swap weapons so I dunno if it is based on something, Vanilla prolly has a better grasp of the fight

In the early depths Omega Masquerade puts up the barrier when you use a specific attack (normal attack combo, photon art, active skill, Mag attack, and so on) that deals about 20% damage in total of his overall health. That barrier means the attack you were using no longer works and you are forced to use something else.

This means over time (especially in the later depths) the threshold gets reduced from 20% to 15% and later to 10% so you end up having to cycle through other photon arts and other weapons in order to continue doing damage. In any class you play you can no longer rely on a single photon art or combo to carry you through this fight.

Just wanted to add that normal attacks will never fail against Masquerade. Counters are considered different from normals, so those will eventually be resisted (though hero's counters are weapon specific so if it resists sword counter, for example, talis counter would still work), but normal attacks themselves will never be something the barriers stop.

Additionally, for the first 100 depths, 15 star weapons have a damage bonus applied that slowly decreases as you get closer to 100. This allows for a much easier time clearing it if you just want to run through it rather quickly.

Summoner is actually ideal for cheesing the lower depths as you can send your pet after it and then sit in a corner while just occasionally healing the pet and sending it back out. This won't work on higher depths (especially when he starts spawning clones) but it's a quick and cheap way to win in the early ones.

Interesting, so I could technically use my alt who is a Su/Br and chese farm it (thou I would assume slower then an active hero run) just buffing healing and swapping the pet as needed?

Pretty much. You can only be that passive at lower depths though since at higher ones even Summoner has to play more actively to get through things but on low depths throwing your pet at it and eating a snack while keeping an eye on the pet is a completely valid option. A 14* Wanda/Jinga work especially well since it can potentially survive a hit that would KO it which gives you a bit more room for error if you forget to occasionally heal your pet.

I got my 10 runs over today. 1 of them was a failure though. I got what I call the "tan screen of death" that rarely happen when you break the crystal. Been having the problem as far back as beach wars from what I remember. Maybe I'm long due for checking for a driver update.

Already have 35 passes. Should be able to easily get at least 30 next month with Ranger, Gunner and Phantom (assuming it's with hero).

Class excubes should become easier to obtain in Episode 6.

On the JP version, multiple Ultra Hard difficulty urgent quests drop class excubes for the class the player is using, usually 1 cube per quest, which makes Dark Falz Elder a great source of class cubes (Falz Arms give 1 per run, also note that UH quests requires lvl 85 on both main and subclass).

Also at lvl 95 we get 10 class cubes per additional level up.

I'm morbidly curious what the EXP scale will be like when level 100 cap comes out since I already keep a lot of my classes at 1 EXP away from level pretty easily thanks to es. Not that it'll be too difficult either way because... keys... but it's still an amusing thought.

That and I wonder how many class cubes we'll get per level once 100 hits too. lol
Thelnar Nov 24, 2020 @ 10:26pm
So I gave the summoner strat a go yesterday and around 60% threw I had to swap pet as my 14s wandas regular attacks started to get blocked, so I had to do the rest with the 13s Jinga.
took me a few attemts anyways, just to get used to the fact that I had to remmember to "hide" when he does the wombo unlike the hero where I just activly dodged everything.

Funny thing is, Summoner in general is good for cheesing difficult content just from the fact pets draw aggro away from you. At least, to a point.

Looking at you Depth 999, "Oh I deal fixed damage that 1-shots everything so sucks to be you Summoners" Masquerade.
Neosiotype Nov 29, 2020 @ 1:23pm
Eh... Thinking about it now I'm probably better off just making an unaffix trailblazer and using just the 3 s-grade augment slots and PP utility.

I bought a grand precision in preparation but this game is on such a fast pace that by the time I have enough passes they'll be something better out.

Supposedly we might also get the astral soul, aether factor and mana reverie affix items at the recycle shop. I thought it would be a pain to get the later two at the same time anyway.
