literally every other game lets me use windows 11 even valorant lmao
You mistake about being able to run vs running natively on it
The former mean it can run but not guaranteed it will run as intendend, any issues you run into is not their issues because they haven't pushed out a version for that OS, you forced it and by chance it was able to run on an OS it not support
And for anti-cheat, this ♥♥♥♥ run deep in the system, not your daily software that run on the surface, it need stable version to work on

Dude its just pso2, much better games to play. This is literally the only game that wont run on windows 11 that I have encountered.

Imagine asking SEGA to fix GAMEGUARD on STEAM forums. OP ...

i'd rather see sega throw away gameguard. Half of the problem i have come from it. fortunately that the last of the game i play that still use it.

all they have to do is open a rule to let us use windows 11 lol
and im using windows 11 due to a system update since im an insider and i also use xbox cloud

All of that was optional. You weren't forced to update, period. Just because you're an "insider" doesn't mean you're obligated to install the alpha-level OS.

This is like installing a beta driver from nVidia and expecting it to work flawlessly; sheer ignorance.

And those problems are yours to handle. Either your system doesn't like it, or your ISP is blocking GameGuard traffic.

Literally no one that develops ANYTHING can account for 100% of system setups.

This is the same thing as everyone here who thinks the launcher has some kind of problem when it in fact works flawlessly. (Except that it defaults browser links to IE/Edge for whatever reason..)

I can guarantee you that the problem is your system, your ISP, or possibly both.

If you suspect that perhaps your ISP is blocking traffic of any kind, simply call them and ask.. it really is that easy. At that point, you're either going to have to use a VPN, or stop using the VPN you're already using.

Just go ask the folks on the ESO discussion boards how that works. For the longest time, Zenimax traffic was being blocked in the US by Charter and Verizon, and Optus in AU.

As matter of fact I can use 4 differents systems and i can virtualize way more. And on each of my system whaterver i running there is no problem at all expect for pso2. Even when there is only the system and pso2 installed and nothing more.

And if you wan't to blame the isp i can use 2 and while i agree one of the 2 might do some dubious thing from time to time. The only program that bug is "PSO2".

On that note before they launch ngs. I only had a bug once or twice. But since ngs it's more like once every 2 or 3 day or worst.

And when you see quite a bit of people with the same problem and only with pso2. You can clearly say that no it's not (always) the others systems fault nor the isp.

no point in arguing with that guy tbh .. he is probably that guy that says mine works just fine when tons of people are having the same problem^^
as for OS i forgot to uncheck the windows 11 upgrade option and when i got home it was installed so i had no choice in the matter but afte rtesting every other game or anti cheat works flawlessly but game guard dosnt because they are a bad anti cheat and has always been , thats why most games that used it changed for easy anti cheat and droped GG .

You'd rather see Sega use XignCode3 with PSO2?

The insider build is very likely the problem.

Moving forward, I would highly suggest anyone who's participating in the insider program or straight up alpha testing W11 for Microsoft to do so on either a separate system, or a VM of their choosing.

Sadly, it can't be expected of everyone and everything to be fully on board with things like that as soon as they drop.

While it is understandable that some things may not work since it isn't a full release, Windows 11 is on a release candidate build currently (since it releases in a few weeks) and I have had ZERO issues with anything else currently.

PSO2 is literally the only thing, that I've come across, that won't run sadly.

The support team responded quickly

"Thank you for taking the time to submit this issue regarding the NP0 error.

Please know that at this time PSO2 is only supported on Windows 10. We apologize for this inconvenience.

-The PSO2 Team"

Thank you PSO2 Team, the release of Windows 11 is October 5, 2021 with an official build, just a reminder. I hope to be able to play it soon, although I can't quite understand why preview builds cause such problems, for me it's the only game that doesn't work with Windows 11.

I'm curious to see how long it will take for Gameguard to approve the build.

Most likely it won't take very long. When Windows 10 was first released, Gameguard/PSO2 were updated right away to support Windows 10. I expect the same to happen with Windows 11.
