They finished the game. Why keep adding to it when they can make another? A big Developers can because of how many people work for them. An indi developers is a small team that goes form project to project.

They more than doubled the games original content and provided countless patches for this small budged game.

For the amount of hours of fun this game provides, I don't see why anyone would complain.

The server issue is simple, just forward your ports and accept the terraria server through your firewall. Once I did that, my friends were able to play through my server anywhere/anytime.

The one complaint I have is that the guys who are porting the game to console add content that we don't get. I'd buy it as paid DLC, maybe, if it was good enough, but not having the option of getting it at all rubs me the wrong way.

Yes, for the pedantic the "free content updates" doesn't apply anymore and should be removed from the store page, but that's because we already got 'em. If you're late to the show just be happy you don't have to wait for them to come out, instead of whining how you're not going to get anymore free stuff. I personally bought the game when it came out, played it a lot with a friend. Recently went back to revisit it, and the game has literally tripled in content. I call that living up to your promises beyond anything we normally see from the "big shots" of the gaming industry.

Be happy he has gone on to do something else, instead of stagnating and putting out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ content like some other games (moar hats, anyone?) just because that is what the bottom-feeders want.
