Cultists not spawning
Hello, I was wondering how you get the Lunatic Cultist enemies to spawn in the dungeon. Golem has been defeated, it's been days, but they just won't spawn. I previously excavated a large part of the surface dungeon and I suspect this may be the cause. Can I possibly fix this or am I screwed forever on this world?

im not 100% sure if replacing what you removed of the dungeon will fix anything, but its worth a try. If that doesnt work ya might of 3crewed yourself...
I'm not sure if the dungeon entrance has to be there, but the area they spawn has to be flat. Try rebuilding the entrance to the best of your ability.

All they need to spawn is a flat area where the Old Man's spawn point was.
I did that, and waited, but still nothing.

It needs to be exactly where the Old Man spawns so it may be tricky.

While the only requirement is to have enough space around the Old Man's spawnpoint, I've found that when you modify the bricks and backwall to the entrace of the dungeon, it tends to glitch out and prevent them from spawning all together, even if you put them back.

I... see. That's probably because there's a different interal ID for natural walls and placed walls. Well, that sucks.

Eeeeeyup. If you put placed walls there the Cultists will not spawn because they're blocked off because you put some walls up.

If nothing works, use TEDIT to set the Dungeon Spawn to somewhere else.
If I remove the walls, but leave a flat space, do you think it'll work?

Also keep in mind that there can not be any holes, it needs to be 100% flat. Meaning that teleporter and switch COULD be preventing them from spawning. If removing the back walls doesn't work than try removing/moving that teleporter and switch for a bit.

The cultists apparently spawn in the air too. This is my dungeon entrance. http://steamcommunity.com/id/tymonkinneas/screenshot/848217889456590438 They all have their own nice little rooms so I don't accidentally hit them walking into the dungeon.

WAIT... REBUILD IT? Monsters CANNOT spawn in places with player placed back walls. that is VERY likely the cause if YOU placed the walls. Since the cultists count as monsters. So knock out the walls and it SHOULD theoretically work. The walls in my screenshot were naturally occuring dungeon walls, naturally occuring walls don't block spawns. (most of the time anyway, there are a few exceptions)
