I think it's very funny tbh, but kinda weird too it's almost like the developer wanted REALLY bad to make this a Hgame but he couldn't, atleast the only thing in the game that's somewhat like the twitter page are the skins(wich aren't THAT bad but still...) and that aside the game has nothing of that

The developers are unbelievably entertaining and unholy levels of based for basically not giving a damn what detractors do or say. Most entertainment industries have drastically declined due to people like that being bullied out. Otaku-centric entertainment like Little Witch here (and anime/manga in general) are a Godsend for doing what they want and intentionally doing everything they can to appeal to their TARGET audience. No wonder that sort of thing has seen such a drastic increase in popularity globally in recent years when the rest of the entertainment sphere is overly sanitized and devoid of creativity. I fully support your decision to feel the way you do, but the more we bully detractors out the better lest Japanese-borne entertainment become exactly like American comics, games, and TV.

This game was made by a lolicon and for lolicons. It's ok to not like this kind of thing, but please don't assume things about real life based on people's tastes in fiction.

The game itself barely has anything that could be considered fanservice tho (maybe the swimsuit skin?) so if you want to play it just for the cute artstyle and gameplay, don't let the marketing material or the fanbase stop you. It's a really solid Souls-like and can be perfectly enjoyed like that.

Even though some twitter/patreon contents seem to lean on ecchi stuffs, the actual game don't have such contents. Yes, there will always be someone who would want a rule 34 for every animate/inanimate objects imaginable but there's also a lot of anime/loli fans who just enjoy cute things (whether they show skins or not) like how they think a kitten, a dog or their child/cousin is cute and not want to have s*x with them straight away.

Japan has a lot of pedophiles but there's also a big enough market and community aware that not all fans of cute little girls are pedos. But most people outside of the community seem to think that fans of those types of characters just want to sleep with them even though all we want to give them is a head pat.
