EDIT: Its never happened to me.
We both have gaming laptops, the CPU's the same - R5 3550H.
Our GPUs are different tho, mine's a 1050 mobile and his is a 1650 mobile.
I only noticed it after the update which allows for a countdown timer before the match officially begins. And after they changed some boxes around the map actually, come to think of it. I hope it gets fixed, definitely a buzz kill when this happened in a normal match. I would hate to have this happen in ranked play; the thought alone is keeping me from playing rn.
I'll run some more tests in AI matches and test more zones if I can get the bug to occur again. I'll try switching in and out of full screen/window mode since that seemed to fix it the first time before it happened again. Anything else I find I'll update here.
Thanks for the feedback, hopefully this doesn't happen too often for the new players. I'd really hate to see new players get an awful first impression and turn away for good.
I'll be playing more soon and will run a few more tests to see if I can force it to happen. I'd like to figure out what causes this as it can really leave a bad first impression for new players.
