Is EU region actually dead?

I'm new player and for now i've spent more time in queue than in a match (3.1h of game time). Should i even bother?

NA has more players, so I recommend playing there. You can easily find games for about 20 hours out of 24. EU also had a special feature when there aren't enough players there can only be 3 squads of real ppl, others are bots. (There can only be 1 bot team in NA, in ultra rare cases there can be a maximum of 2) I haven't played on EU for a while, but I don't think they've removed that feature.

Personally, I switched to NA ranked back in 2021 in EA Season 2, but continued to play normals on EU, but after the 1.0 release a year ago, I quit EU completely cuz of its state.
My ping on NA is 120, it's not that bad once you get used to it, I get mythril every season in ranked while meming in the process.

If you're new you're going to get queue'd with bots for the first dozen of games or so and then start getting matches with human players, forced bot games should completely be gone by level 30. I'm level 60, from EU and normal match queues are no more than 2-4 mins during evenings (17-23h), 0 bots. So no, EU is not dead.
