Why do you need to pay to disassemble items?

In developer's perspective, it should encourage players to keep playing the game and farm/grind for A-Coin to disassemble the things they've got.

You're playing an ONLINE game so its expected there'll be paywall for some farmable currency. This is NOT a single player game where you can disassemble for FREE.

You do realize this is the same loot system LoL has except you have to waste currency that you buy characters with.

It doesn't make sense to buy a loot box where you get a skin then be forced to waste another sort of currency just to be able to get a bit of another currency to be able to get an actual skin you can play with.

Im currently sitting on 39 skin shards and I can't even get rid of the ones I don't want to get the actual ones I want.

So what? Just because its inspired by LOL doesn't mean it HAS TO BE like LOL. They copied the gacha mechanics and UID from Genshin Impact so are you saying we should be getting Weapon skins with your logic?

Yes it makes a LOT of sense provided battlepass contains bunch of A-Coins and A-Coin BOOST. If you've played this game a LONG time like me, the A-Coin loses its value because I almost PURCHASED everything with the A-Coin.

So yeah, it DOES makes sense to add a paywall on the dismantling system whatever you call it.

League doesn't have a chance to give u a full skin without having to assemble it a long with characters

This is nothing like the loot system in League because in League you can only buy the champions with the Blue Essence (The free in-game currency earned by playing). Skins in League except for the Warwick Urf skin which is a Blue Essence sink (100k BE or something) that happens maybe once a year is otherwise all bought with money. So you being able to get skin shards and even full skins from loot boxes is actually way more generous than Riot has ever been, especially since you can get loot boxes with in-game currency monthly. The point of the loot boxes is for a chance at skins not available for purchase currently. So i'd suggest just sticking to buying skins outright if you don't care for the free in-game way of earning them.

Because with the amount of free A-Coins they give out pretty often, you can get most of the characters you want, if not all of the cast pretty fast and later on these coins just sit and collect dust. In my opinion having a way to spend them is actually better, than it being a completely useless currency. During this pre-season I've got like 40k A-Coins. Most of these are from Twitch drops.

In case anyone goes hurr-durr, I don't want to watch streamers... well that's on you. NN is providing you with some way to obtain resources, other than paying up and if you don't want to obtain it their way, by having a streamer running in the background, muted, on 240p, then that's your choice. Also watching streamers is a good way to get a good understanding on the game. Most of them are happy to explain the game to newcomers and help them understand.
