Yeah its confusing too, even right at the start of the match, i craft/hunt/search every single thing i see on my path, yet encounter people already 3-4 levels higher within such a short timeframe.

Is every action equal weighting when giving xp? like advancing to lvl 2 hunting gives the same as advancing to lvl 5 search etc? aka should we focus on one route for better exp? Or max out all the low levels for all the categories for more exp?

Every action you do, even just strolling, gives XP. You just need do things continuously, but focused on get the items you need to craft the items you need. Then, you can search ingredients and craft food and drinks to get levels. Set traps too, even if they're useless, it gives more XP.

If I recall crafting high tier stuff even food gives more exp but I can not confirm that

craft non stop. craft stuff you don't need and drop it ina bush. kill all mobs you can. just non stop be pulling XP anyplace you can.

To answer your question, No. Everything is not weighted the same. For instance, attacking an animal yields 5 weapon XP. Attacking another player yields 60 weapon XP. A difference that's by a factor of 12.

To OP. Hunt and Harrass players if you're ranged. Otherwise quick searches are the way to go.
