Are there already hackers in this game?

I decided to play a game today and as soon as the game started, phone booths appeared out of no where next to me and suddenly I was "trapped" in them, I couldn't move. There was a Shoichi player near me and he was trapped in them as well.

Couldn't do anything because we'd rubber band back inside them if we tried to move.

I was Sissela and decided to rest and suddenly my screen just bugged out, but the game was still running.

Mind you this was still level 1 and since there is no auto exp, you can't level to 2 since you can't move or find items to craft or hit players for exp.

So I decided to just use my Q over and over since it gives EXP for HP, but it was too late by then because the area I was in was being locked down. I had barely hit 2 before my 30 second countdown timer started and I was able to Q and E myself out of the phone booths and walk around for a few seconds before dying to the danger zone.

I have 2 screen shots of what it looks like and what appears to be a player killing another player (not saying they're the culprit though), but I don't know how to post it here.

In a way, yes, but ONLY for that reason.

The game itself is really fun and plays well.

There's nothing actually wrong with the game besides what's currently happening with hackers ruining the fun. Definitely give it a try once things settle down or go ahead and give it a try anyway, since the game is fairly small and it's a quick download and setup/tutorial is simple.

I will say it might be confusing at first, but you start to get the hang of it after the first few games. Also watching guides on YouTube really helps as well (I recommend videos by Tomsorcer).

This litteraly just happened to me in my last match dude had full build in 5 minutes He might have had it right at the start of the game because he was attacking everyone at the start chasing me across the map. Full purples and legendary in 5 minutes and he was chasing me all over for at least 3 minutes of the match. No way he looted that much to make a full build in 2 minutes.
