https://www.siliconera.com/2013/10/24/atelier-escha-logy-will-have-dual-audio-voice-tracks-in-the-west/ Do you at all know that KT said in 2013 October that All Future Atelier Games Will Include Dual Audio In The West and they said that We want to say sorry for the incidents of Atelier Ayesha; also a big thank you for letting us know your feeling regarding the voicing issue. We have told and pushed the Gust development team. We’ll keep making sure all their games to include dual audio options from now on. Thanks, If they had said "Japanese voices" this would not be an issue, but they said dual audio. They've gone back on that, Lydie, Nelke and Lulua should have them but they dont and they dont even say sorry to that
They apologized and fulfilled our demands because they know how important the fans like me are.
For people like you though....
Dub fans: "No dub, no buy!!"
KT: "Okay, see ya."
- 3 years later, when a new game is coming out -
Dub fans: "No dub, no buy!!"
KT: "I thought you guys left?"
Well KT shouldnt favor you and Sub group over the other
Well we buy their games, unlike the dub lovers.
Monterossa if you have a huge ego over us refused to purchase them, then why you refused to purchase Dragon quest 11, you might be a no japanese dub, no buy kind of guy
Yes, I am.
But the difference is they will listen to people like me, because we're important.
well you supporting Koei Tecmo's decision to stop dubbing this franchise only proves my point, you and sub community are not helping a atelier series grow not by buying them, but by pushing other people away, english dub fans and other people
The exclusion of those people didn't effect the sales of Lydie. So they don't matter to the series's growth.
okay Monterossa. Moki said that is convenient for you because then you don't acknowledge how hard Firis bombed in Japan due to how mediocre Sophie was and it was only a HUGE push by GUST about how much of an improvement Lydie was that it saw the sales it did (plus it was the ONLY one on the switch which is heavily skewing your numbers.)
But it did affect sales, didn’t it?
If the sales figures are accurate.
Your right, profit is more accurate, however with the low sales how are they making it profitable? I believe it’s the reason for the outrageous DLC prices, game prices. Also the reason these games never go on sale. That’s there attempt to make the series in it’s current state profitable.
Ask Monterossa, he provided the links.
I didn't add the switch sales, because Firis never received a switch release.
Judging by how much better it sold on every other console, it's guaranteed to have outsold Lydie on Switch.
it doesnt show PC sales for Firis and Lydie, so the only way to know this is steamspy
Which shows that right now
Firis 20 000-50 000
Lydie 0- 20 000
also i did asked that guy
Yep, steamspy is the best we got to know PC sales.
The figures vgchartz provided only show the Japanese demographic. PC Steam sales are global, it would be great to see the sales for each region.
True, also what do you think of Atelier games released every year,
