You can add all pre-order DLC (including the Innocent Fairy and Fish Girl dresses) for free by going to these SteamDB pages and clicking "add free license". Not sure if it's intentional or an oversight, but make sure to grab them while this still works!

youre such a lifesaver! I went to steamdb's page for innocent fairy and it just had "install", which didnt add it to my library but just launched the client and then do nothing.

How did you get to these pages instead?

I think you need to open the links in an external browser and login to your steam account in that browser (ignore the extension warning). Then you can add it to your steam account.

ah thats not quite what i was asking, i managed to add them already, but if you go onto steamdb and just look for the dlcs themselves, theres no 'free license' button or anything of the sort on those pages.
so i wondered how iriyap got to these 'special' pages where the option was available after all. might help with future similar issues if i can find it myself.

Here's an alternate method, if someone's struggling with SteamDB for whatever reason.

- Go to this page in an external browser (Chrome, Edge etc), make sure you're logged into your Steam account and you've already bought Atelier Lulua:

- Press CTRL+Shift+J to open the JavaScript console.

- Copy & paste these commands one by one, pressing Enter to confirm each one:
javascript:AddFreeLicense(354694);
javascript:AddFreeLicense(354697);
javascript:AddFreeLicense(354700);
javascript:AddFreeLicense(354703);

If it's not clear, you copy & paste one command, press Enter, then copy & paste the next one, and so on. Don't copy & paste all 4 at the same time.

I tried it and gives me an error. Not sure if that's because I don't have the game or whether its been fixed by Koei.

Don't want to pay for the game just to try. Then I have to wait a whole week to get the money back in my credit card after requesting a refund.

Oh yeah, you can't claim any DLC for a game you don't own, even free ones.

Problem is, everyone here ALREADY claimed the free licences, so we don't have the actual button to check. Only new user can check if there's the "add free license" thing.

If you see it, 99% you can still claim it.
On Sophie 2, for instance, I don't see something similar even if I own it. Thus KT patched it in recent titles, but I SUPPOSE not here.

Now, while I'm as pissed as you that we can't buy those costumes fairly, I don't think I'll choose whether to buy or not a game based on that alone... if you like Lulua buy it, getting the costumes is a bonus thing.
If you don't like it, it's not like a costume will change anything no?
