This is a complex and subjective question: someone likes the trilogy, someone does not like it.

Nope that doesn't cover all the main games. Also, feel free to buy or not buy the Arland Trilogy. The game doesn't really require any knowledge about the trilogy since they help you through everything to understand what is going in the story.

Here is a list of the main games:

i think i was mostly interested in the Arland saga since this seem t be the 4th of the other 3

yeah but is not necesary or obligatory play arland game for understood the 4 game , this is for all Atelier games, all are stand alone BUT have reference to previus game but is not obligatory is strange , for example you can play Lulua and then Rorona and these two game they complements. if you want play in order Fine, if you want to play in other order is fine , its pretty flexible.

Its usually considered the best trilogy of the Atelier games series. If your options are Steam or PC its definately the best trilogy, since Dusk isnt available on those systems (yet?)

As some of the other posts mention, its not needed to play the other games in order to start with this one. They are only loosely related (some characters appear in multiple games, and have some backstory in previous games etc). Lulua is very related to the other 3 games but its still just character relations. Playing Lulua first wouldnt make you feel lost, but rather make you more interested in the previous games I think.

Should you buy three good games? Yes.

This series is expensive one. If I haven't had unexpected money, I would buy only Lulua

Are you trying to score points for being a terrible human being or something? xD You dont have to use so many different arguments of poor taste and perspective to defend why you dont like a game, you know.

Is your taste a priori a benchmark?

I'm starting to feel that even at my usual 10% seriousness, you still arent worth my time.

Truly, it's not necessary to waste time so that the next stupidity veiled the previous one.
