Weird repetitive sound effect when entering indoor areas

I used the "search" bar to try and find a similar problem in the discussion history, but to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix it? Whenever I enter a house or a merchant's shop I hear this repetitive sound that I can only describe as some weird "divine sound effect" lol. A weird sound that repeats every second or so. It's starting to get moderately annoying. Thank you very much in advance for any help. I apologize if this was already brought up by someone else, I couldn't find it :/

Maybe someone is casting something in the background? Or an item you have equipped is going through some cycles? An ability gets refreshed? IDk.

unfortunately that's not the case :(
I tried disabling all abilities and even taking off all armor / accessories and that didn't seem to help at all. I think it started happening after a quest called Brother Fallon's Beads , but I'm not entirely sure.

Definitely started with the prayer beads quest, might go away after a save and quit though.

It's a bug. The original had it too. Simply reloading the game fixes it. At least it always has for me.

It's from the beads you get from the quest Brother Fallon's.Beads. If they're in your inventory you get a loud ringtone-esque sound like that.

Make sure you report it in the pinned thread on the forum made for bugs so we can take a look, I know Kaiko worked hard on some sounds but impossible to get them all right away so yea make sure it gets reported so we can take a look.

lol this never got fixed. Its been happening to me and its very annoying. I don't recall it being a thing in the original version.

I had the same issue myself after I reached level 10. (Well before I picked up the prayer beads.) It reminded me of the Nirnroot you can get in Skyrim. After asking someone who has played the game religiously, they said they had never heard the sound before. This gave me the idea to Verify my games files on my PC. It seems to have worked. I've gone to the various locations I had heard it in and it's gone. After playing with it for over two days, its strange to not have it sounding. ^^;
