About Romances -
- I remember when playing the original, there were no romance options with men . So, THQ, did you change this ? Will I be able to now find a handsome guy wanting to marry my female character , somewhere ?
Romance is not a big deal in KoA, but it is there, and the only option in the original was to marry a female.
And obviously the romance options was only meant for male characters - because no matter your gender, those ladies will call you "handsome" , which of course is a compliment meant for a man.
Not a big deal , but, well , - I am a romantic , and I would love the option to meet a nice guy on my journey through Amalur :winkkit:

They did not change or add content like that. It's just a remaster.

I think you can. There weren't any gender restrictions from what I remember.

either im missing something or no you cant (males cant marry females, females cant marry males, females cant marry females and males cant marry males); icr any marriage or romance system other than flirting with brattigan or whatever her name is in the dead kel dlc

Yes, females are the only romance options. Which clearly was meant for male characters, since the ladies available keep adressing your character as 'handsome' , etc. Not a compliment meant for a woman.
I just wish we had other options , and better made romantic dialogs, - Maybe in a new DLC, or a sequel ?

Vonbleak, it does not matter if your character is male or female ; you have the same romance options .

Are we including the Maid of Windemere in this? Also "you were a beast in bed last night" isnt exactly male exclusive.

Re-Recokoning didn't really make any big changes to the game, so the only romance options are to Flirt with Rast Brattigan or get far along the Master of the Keep to marry the female Ljsoalfar.

There is a new DLC coming out in 2021 called Fatesworn, but no real details on it yet.
