I would say for an owner of the original game like yourself, its worth it more then the normal edition since the discount also applies to the upcoming DLC.

I own the original game but purchased the Fate Edition since I had enjoyed the game so much. Hope this helps :)

Yep. Worth it if you already own. The expansion will probably be something like $20 by itself at release and you can get both the remaster and the expansion for only $22 right now.

Ahh make sense, thank you. Did not think about that.

DLC and the soundtrack for 6 bucks seems worth it. :blissful_creep:
I got it because I had that 60% off and I wanted the OST+dlc

It's worth it if you have the original game and the 60% off.

Ignoring the soundtrack, and assuming you're an owner of the original, the math definitely favors the Fate Edition. On its own, the base game is $16 with the launch discount. The Fate Edition includes the DLC for an additional $15 over the base price, so we can value the DLC at $15.

With the discount, the Fate Edition is $22 so you can view it as getting the game for $7 and the DLC for $15, or each for $11. Either way, the game is unlikely to be that steeply discounted in the near future so it's absolutely the best value.

$22..? nice, The fate edition cost me $39 with the %60 discount... Still, as you say it is certainly better to get the fate edition if you have the original game..

I bought Fate Edition. Why is there no DLC tab in the game properties in the library? Where is the soundtrack folder?

The Fatesworn expansion will release in 2021. With the Fate Edition you won't have to buy it on its own when it releases then. All the original DLC is included with the game itself.

The expansion hasn't been released yet.

Yes, it's worth it. With the DLC and the soundtrack that's a good deal. The soundtrack is lossless quality as well.

If the game really interests you, then you should definitely choose FATE Edition, because in 2021 you will face the fact that the new DLC costs 30% of the game with two expansions, which seems a bit ridiculous (for example, in my region, the price of a new DLC will match the price of two good indie games). Now, with a discount, and while it's new, people don't focus on this.
