Shadow Warrior 3's plot is retconned as BfA Sylvanas, holy $hit (spoilers)

I just realized Shadow Warrior 3 was released, like, 5 days ago.
The plot between Shadow Warrior 2 and Shadow Warrior 3 is for me...f@cking weird.
So, in ShW2, we save female Yakuza's granddaughter, Kamiko, we appear at Zilla Labs, we're too late to save her from being a test subject to first Pfizer vaccine, that makes her body go "Scary Movie - exorcist scene" and all. Then, thanks to Smith - our mechanic and craftsman - bounds the soul of Kamiko into Wang's body and make our body as temporary vessel, to find cure for her "corruption". We do sorts of missions, like it's Borderlands 2 again.

And the climat of the game, Kamiko sacrifices herself, so she can seperate demon realm and Earth realm. Buuuuuuuut, that $hit backfires, opening gate for a Ancient Dragon, that - in ending scene - devours Wang. Which makes me question things...more on that later.

NOW - back to ShW3 (major spoilers).
Beginning starts with Wang, being a complete wreck. He's full "Cast Away", talking to his old buddy: Hoji, being only a mask (for those who didn't played ShW; at the final fight, he sacrificed himself, to save Wong and his sister). Ancient Dragon (by ShW2 point of view: Kamiko) wrecks Earthrealm and our old hub, Dragon Mountain. We go on a vietnam flashback, what went wrong, then Zilla comes back, we venture on a quest to kill the dragon, Hoji comes back and tries to stab us back, because - that's Hoji - and Zilla get's a blowjob from her witch sorceress GF from colleage years. Few plot changes and emotional scenes later - we kill "Komiko Dragon" and we eat sushi next to a corpse of a dragon.

Now, my only question is:
Did Komiko intentionally broke Dragon out of his prison, was it on purpose or it was one of those moments "there was this small text with * that says: it can also be a prison for ancient dragon that empowered ancients and demon gods"? Was this a part of Devolver Digital plot all along or they just retcon the plot between these games?
Another issue: why bring Hoji back? I don't say "hoji sucks" - I mean, Wang was already emotionaly damaged by his sacrifice in ShW1, we see little of that, being showed in ShW2.
Now suddenly, they decided to add him to the game, for the plot twist?
For me, this is as convoluted as Sylvana's throught BfA and Shadowlands, by Blizzard.
I just hope there won't be ShW4.

Don't get me wrong - if you want to play and kill demon ass and have lots of fun with it. You should definetly buy Shadow Warrior Trilogy. But when it comes to the plot and lore of characters - this really doesn't make alot of sense.
But it's Devolver Digital afterall - their panels are f@cking sick and good...does it make sense? No? <burns a nerd with a flamethrower, until it turns to a skieleton>.

3. Yes, the job of the moderators is to punish people for their toxicity and delete toxic discussions. What's to wonder about that? Obviously they deleted the entire discussion line. That's why also my comments got deleted (rightfully so). Not because i'm a badie here. If i'm i would have been banned too.

I also didn't know this game released even though I've put it on watch list like a year ago. I just seen it pop up on Steam store suddenly today, and I was surprised the sudden release for a relatively big title, with no marketing or announcement. This is probably damage control of a bad project, so they just went ahead and released it regardless to see some profit based on two successful titles prior, they might get away with it and make some profit.

Yeah they handeled marketing pretty poorly. But i think we have the answer, why that was :)
