There are 12 playable teams in BB3. If you don't enjoy playing Nurgle, you could try one of the other 11?
Alternatively, you could try playing the campaign? The AI is ridiculously easy to beat, and highly unlikely to stomp anyone. I recently started a team with 11 Rotters and no positionals, and still easily won most early matches by three or four to nil.
Or is your complaint just that you're a lifelong Nurgle fan for thematic reasons and hate the current roster implementation? Because that one's really on GW, and Cyanide's license is probably locking them in to using the official teams as published.
There's plenty of valid reasons at this stage for people to decide not to buy the game. Yet I would love to hear what the thought process is behind protesting it because a low-tier team of niche specialists are correctly implemented as low-tier?
This, for the last 2 editions, its been nothing but suffering, and I have had enough of it. So unless they get buffs, I will pass.
I'm sceptical when, how or if GW are likely to improve them at all, but best of luck all the same.
The way BB is balanced seems like GW is content leaving them in their current position as a 2nd tier team... just play as team of rotters and play for inducements haha.
The issue is the way the QP is set up as you said previously yourself... no incentive to play unless you think you got the upper hand on the opponent and can proceed to enjoy said advantage over them. Pretty freaking lame.
not at all, but having a fighting chance would be nice, instead of knowing the outcome before you even get the game started.
If the point was them being the strongest team at endgame, I get it. But that isn't even the case. At high TV there are still at least 2-3 teams (skaven/chaos chosen/Delf) better... And those teams don't have it as difficult as Nurgle during the climb.
I get what you are saying. It takes the fun away when you have to stick to close to a meta when playing. Still though at least they get more love that Black Orcs.
You have to contact Games Workshop if they change the rules for you.
You will be happy to know that this "balance" is also keeping me from purchasing BB irl.
This fed up consumer is voting with his wallet.
After about 10 games you'll look at Nurgle with envious and reverent tones. Im currently 1300 TV and it is a very painful and brutal affair to deal with.
My logic is if you can be decent(i know that im gonna lose 2/3 of my matches, especially coming back to BB after a long hiatus) with a Crap Tier team then you'll do even better with a good tier team. Im playing it like its Competition league. I don't concede, i leave my players down on the pitch when i have 5 left and cant effect the ball. I save apos for my key positionals. Truly, if i was playing dwarves or some easier team, i wouldn't be able to shake off the rust as quickly.
This is true, but for this "fun" experience, I can just boot up BB2
