Black orcs ?

Hi, i'm curious to know about the "black orc team" with gobelin, and trolls wouldn't just "orcs" be more exact? I know about editions etc but not in detail, i'll gladly take an update if this is a logic change and, if we will not end with an "classic orc" dlc later lol. Thanks.

The game is set to be a faithful adaptation of the new Blood Bowl Season 2 ruleset. This ruleset keeps the regular orc team, but also introduce the Black Orc team which is a different roster. In the universe of the game, Black Orcs are bigger, tougher orcs. The "Black orcs" in the Orc team have been changed slightly and renamed "Big Uns".

If i remember correctly, Big Uns are "just" bigger orcs, not black orcs. And if i understand corectly, in the season 2 ruleset you have two roster of orcs then? Regular orcs (with gobelins) and black orcs then? Do they have gobelins too? Or it's just in the game, i'm curious about that.

They're a one to one copy of the new TT teams.

So Orcs have Goblins, Black Orcs have Goblin bruisers(?) as linemen, they're just Gobbos with thick skull.

Yeah the thing is all the teams got changes that will change the way they play. Regular Ogre team has animosity to deal with now for instance. Here's hoping all these changes make for a better game but I wonder at the moment.

At least it will be a change of pace.

The Big Uns are faster, movement 5. The Black Orcs have the Brawler and Grab skills. but have movement 4 and animosity towards other Big Uns and a PA of - .
Black Orcs have a Trained Troll and have the Specisl rule, Bribery and Corruption.

For your question about the goblins, the Black Orc team uses Goblin Bruiser Lineman, 45.000 goldpieces compared to the cheaper Goblins used by the Orc team. Those are only 40.000 gold pieces each. The difference is their Thick Skull. If your Black Orc or Orc team has 225.000 gold pieces for inducements you can hire The Black Gobbo. He is the Sneakiest of the lot. A Bombardier without the Secret Weapon trait !!! For the price of 5 Goblin Bruiser Linemen you have something called a starplayer for a reason. The hard part is to have patience my friend. Soon can take a while.

The goblin bruisers are kinda like semi skaven but with the better dodge and the worse movement

So is it more fun to build a team now with the new rules than in BB2? Oh well we'll find out eventually no rush.

With fouling appearing to be even better/more important with these new rules this team should be in theory pretty damn good with the cheap gobos and bribes.
