Games Workshop makes all their dosh off paywalling the more popular races behind DLC in every single warhammer-themed game created.
Don't get me wrong; usually, in Blood Bowl, it's not pay-to-win. Every race has it's up and downs.
But it's pay more to play the more thematically 'fun' or popular races. They are never base game.
But the team is not really goblin like, people who play goblins do so primarily for things like chainsaws, bombs and pogo sticks.
Human, Orc, Dark Elf, Elven Union, Skaven, Dwarf, Nurgle, and Chaos Chosen teams.
Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility, Old World Alliance, and Chaos Renegades.
It took forever to get the gimmick teams (not to say they aren't an essential component to the blood bowl experience of course) into BB2... let's just hope we don't have to wait as long this time around for BB3.
