savegame on endless mode
would be really nice to have point to save on every completed trainstation. it is frustrating to start from the very beginning again. would like to build a long train, but we never reached 300m

one more suggestion: higher granularity for settings. thieves on/off, animals on/off etc.

I found it! This definitely helps, and I totally respect the rogue-lite nature. High stakes, high rewards, for sure!

I think I would still like to recommend a save-by-station option. A lot of the friends I have come over don't play many video games besides these couch coop games I have, and when we make some dumb mistake in the first biome and the camera starts panning back to the beginning, they'll groan and vote to switch games to something else. If all that happened was restarting at the latest station, it would still be punishing, but we'd get over it and I guarantee we'd all be absolutely hooked and try harder to reach that next station.

Either way, this game is absolutely fantastic, and we love you.

Bump for more frequent saves, at least on some difficulty level. My wife and I can handle it as it stands, but with our 8 year old the stakes are too high and she gets discouraged.

This is a pretty serious flaw in difficulty scaling.

I agree - the game would be perfect for kids if it had frequent saves (per station)/difficulty levels/additional options. My 7 and 9 year old would be forever grateful! :)

Save buy station is defo why I also came here.

I got this game to play with the fam cause it looked like the perfect game for the kids.... This is not a kids game...

They don't have the attention span to be focusing 100% all the time and restarting after making a clumsy mistake or if one of them was fooling around makes the whole fam fall to chaos! Obviously this game got shelved almost instantly.

holding out in hopes that a save after every station comes along.

In my group, we don't care at all about the high scores, we just want to have a good time. This is by far our biggest gripe with the game.

+1. Repeating the same maps several times because the seed doesn't change when you go back to the last checkpoint does way more to hurt your "rogue like nature" than increasing the checkpoint frequency does. Actually, I wouldn't even mind so much if I could keep the current distance+upgrades but have a new map, but having to repeat levels you'e already beaten kills any desire to keep playing.

If I want a proper rogue-like I'll play a singleplayer game, not a multiplayer game.

+1 to this request. I play casual co-op with some friends, and the lack of forgiveness is threatening to drive them away from this game. We don't care about scores either, just having a good time.
