now how does a bot lose connection?

In this case there are no trees it can cut that are connected to your current piece of land, and you asked for it to cut down trees.

The bot does not automatically do anything. You have to tell it what to do all the time. I feel like I spend more time guiding the bot than playing the game.

but there is trees you can see them in the picture or is it because it cant get to the tress but is not doing ! to tell me?

Yes, there's lot of trees, but it cannot cross water automatically for some reason. You literally have to paint a path for the bot and then tell it to build bridges before it will ever think about doing so.

Personally, I found the bot to be pretty mediocre compared to a human player. It's great for mining or cutting wood and also the collection mode but everything else is quite terrible.
