What is the weird sly face emoji on some players?

So, I was playing a game and someone joined who repeatedly had a squinted, baggy eyed emoji emoting. I don't recall seeing that in the emote menu (or why it would be) so I just thought I'd ask what it is.

The "huaji" Emoji is available in place of the "laugh"-smiley when changing your game language to Chinese.

Bilibili is our game's publisher in China and requested this change long ago based on the huge support and feedback from our Chinese language players. The replacement Emoji is an equivalent expression of thinking something is amusing/funny.

Ah, thanks for the clearing up! So they were just emoting it, I thought it maybe was like a marker if the player was reported or something lol.
