Can we get an option go to back to the old version for now?
Most VR titles use openvr_api and I can inject FSR or DLSS and tune it however I like. I have a 4080 and FSR in this game makes text and other random textures a wobbly mess, DLSS worked fine. My performance has also tanked and I'm not seeing a whole lot of objective improvement.
Apologies, I love the game - but 2.6 is a mess. No new content and breaking what was there is never going to go over well with your community.
Because there seem to be a lot of discrepancies, as some people report better performances (you don't hear much about them because people only come to Steam forums to complain), and other worse performances.
In my case :
Ryzen 7 5800x with a RTX 3080Ti
Running the game with MSAA and FSR, all on high, and the game upscaled to 200% using FPSVR
Game looks and run great. Or at the very least it runs as good as it did before.
Also, a lot of people mention that turning Shadows to low seems to improves things greatly for them, so people might try that.
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: RTX 3060 TI
Edit: Forgot to mention, used to run the game on high
Anyways, iv found it runs great (90fps) with upscaling OFF and VARIABLE RATE SHADING to Quality and render to 120%
