I love this game. I play it all the time. I even have a challenge night set up for it every friday night! Alas, there are too many issues for me to recommend this game now.
1. Servers: Yes, I know that optimization and getting better servers is generally supposed to be AFTER early access/Alpha, but with the exponentially increasing, widespread, global playerbase, the servers that are around right now CANNOT HOLD UP. Desync happens all the time for me in any server, including NA, my home server.
2. Microtransactions: Look, I really don't give a rats asus that they're there. it's a part of EVERYTHING now and they had to jump on the bandwagon. BUT, what frustrates people is when others do not keep promises, such as NOT adding Microtransactions.
3. HACKERS: Ever since I had read that "Over 6,000 players are being banned per day for suspected cheating" I've been witnessing cheating almost every single day. What they don't say in those reports, though, is that you WILL run into a hacker/cheater every few games. You WILL be taken down by burst fire on an M16 in half a second with full armor from across the circle. You and your squad WILL ALL get headshotted, while running, with no missed shots, by a sniper, across the map. The cheating problem is the BIGGEST problem of this game, thus far.

I WILL recommend this game again, once the issues have been resolved; but for pete sake, get out of early access, make this a FULL, COMPLETE GAME, and keep the player base happy, otherwise, it will all come crashing down quickly.

Update: NEGATIVE.
I've spent nearly 750(?) hours in game, very little of that is afk time. Been playing for a long ass time, they've had the cheaters and barely done anything about them, then went against their word on paid crates and microtransactions, and now they want even more money. I don't like fortnite BR as the gameplay itself isn't fun for me, but I respect them because anybody is allowed to play for free and added in payments after awhile. Same with ROE, free game, free crates, free everything. No microtransactions. Fun gameplay, constant real updates.
I have had a negative review on pubg since I was at 300 hours, I've made my own challenge mode list with @RvBSarge and @CrimsonWolf and a couple other viewers of the stream. But the servers are ♥♥♥♥. The cheating is rampant. The devs don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about anything but their money. They're getting close to EA levels.
