Performance on Nvidia RTX 2060 and Ryzen 7 4800h
I'm getting a really bad performance from this game, I'm using quest 2 air link, sometimes it's smooth but sometimes the lag is just unbearable. I've tried to decrease my resolution to the lowest and set the in game option res to 85% but it's still the same. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this game's requirement really that high? What can I do to increase the performance

i'm using a 2060 Ryzen 5 3600 and I'm getting the same problems. its never perfectly smooth and i can def see when its not running at the right fps, ive also been looking for a fix but just know its not just your PC thankfully. (i use a wired headset)

RTX 2060S Ryzen 5 3600, runs pretty smooth on HTC Vive. Maybe lags are connected with HDD and loadings? I use M2 SSD and don't have problems.

If you can, try a wired connection instead of air link. If the lag and smoothness are better, then this suggests that the problem lies with air link. (FYI, I use Virtual Desktop but my specs are more powerful).

Some other suggestions:
-a wireless connection of any sort will be influenced by any other devices that are also connected to the same network. For my setup, I have a wireless router that has the Quest 2 as the ONLY device on that network. This is a much more expensive option than many are willing to spend (buying another dedicated router), so it might be less practical.
-If you don't have the luxury of having a dedicated router, try kicking other devices temporarily off them. For example, switch your phone to use the 2.4 GHz and not the 5 GHz connection, etc.
-I HIGHLY recommend that your computer have a direct wired connection to the router, rather than having both it and the Q2 connected wirelessly.

I used to have a lot of stuttering, and by switching to the "public_steamvr" beta (right click on game > properties), somehow the stutters were mostly gone. Not sure why, maybe the Oculus executable has higher requirements than the SteamVR one or something? But you should try it out.

Consider getting Virtual Desktop instead of Air Link, since Virtual Desktop is currently more performant than AirLink
