Is there going to be an 18+ patch for this?

I'm not a fan of censorship and would rather play a game in it's entirety. So I was wondering whether there's going to be an 18+ patch in the future or is this just going to be all age only (light beam edition)?

Really hope it will be 18+. This one is really good one, would be big shame if they cut out all adult content.

On the bright side it will be as amazing as the Switch version, and not censored like the PS4 version. So I'm still kind of tempted to buy this game just to throw ♥♥♥♥ in Sony's direction. But at the same time it would be 1000 times better if they just put up the full game on JAST, MangaGamer, DLsite or somewhere else.

I agree. Steam should be an option not only place to buy. Also would be awesome if some ppl from dev/pubs actually take an interest with this thread.

Hopefully not. Otherwise the toxic crowd that condone the sexualisation of minors will flock to this release.

That said, the translation quality is already causing controversy so this release will likely bomb anyway. It should have come over on consoles.

Also, they can keep the all age version on steam, but they should release the "real" game on any other Site like Jast USA, Mangagamer, Denpasoft, Nutaku etc.
Most VN-Fans are already using this sites, we dont need steam as a option to play our 18+ vns

A PS4 localisation would still sell. Censored games do sell despite what a very vocal, perverted minority like to claim.

Don't expect this to release elsewhere.

You know that the core audience for a title like that, is most likely the audience that like the content. We already saw that with the release for Eiyuu Senki on the PS3, the script was used for the PC 18+ version and after that, they released the pc version with his full content because people pirated the game.

Censored games sells, if the game is not a niche title like that, because like some people already said.....the game has more than 30% H-Content.
I can confirm this, because i played the title with a texthooker tool (machine translation) and most scenes were Fanservice or Hentai, the story content was low (especially because 40% of the heroines are perverts).
The sale numbers in japan were low for the PS4, the Switch selled better but the PC version was the best in sales numbers and we are talking about a country, were consoles, mobile etc. is stronger than the Pc.
Look at the sales numbers in Famitsu, sale numbers for Eiyuu Senki on Jast USA etc.

I don't think you know what you are talking about. The PS4 version is censored beyond reason. All fan service is removed, which usually doesn't work well in a game based on fan service. I believe it is the most censored product in the video game market right now. So only reason to buy it really is if you want a historically bad product.

The only vocal minorities around are those who censor products. I think Hyper Universe lost about 900 players due to censorship. And it was about 20 people tops who wanted censorship. So the vocal and disturbing minorities are the ones who remove content from games.

TERA is another example where 50% of the playerbase play the censored race with hacked resources. The other 50% is spread on 5 races or so, because they are all minority groups.

I dont think so, many fans which have interest in a title like that, are already knew about the censorship on the PS4 because NoraNeko was the big example for Sonys new policy, many Youtubers talked about that, even Gaming Sites like PlaystationNow, Kotaku, Nichegamer, Silicionera, Gematsu etc. wrote a Article about that.
VNs have their own audience and most of them are not that clueless X_x
I mean, we always see that if a new title is released on steam and people always ask for a Patch
