List of overhaul MODS for the authenticity of COD WaW
I, FeReise and Silas had created a set of overhaul mods for Call of Duty World at War's Campaign. We aimed to increase a little bit more element of AUTHENTICITY into it, and we really hope these mods should be able to provide you the gaming experiences even better than the vanilla version.

Brief details:

Pacific Theater - Semper Fi: The Waiting's Over version (Semper Fi)
- Correction for Marine raiders uniforms and IJN defenders
- New weapons arrangement for both factions

Vendetta: Darkest Days (Little Resistance, Hard Landing and Vendetta)
- Contents from Pacific Theater is now included in the updated version.
- Correction uniforms for every faction: new color on American and Soviets uniform, more variation on IJA and German troops, etc.
- For German soldiers: Add camouflage helmets and helmet with strap, remove M43 field cap, faces variation, add M36 (lookalike) tunic, add Gefreiter and Obergefreiter insignia, etc.
- New weapons arrangement for every faction
- King Tiger wreckage prop now replaced by Panzer IV
- New skin and decal for Panzer IV and Half-Track
- etc.

Fall of Berlin: 3.1 version (Their Land Their Blood, Burn 'em Out, Relentless and Blood and Iron (Ring of steel is optional))
- Contents from Pacific Theater is now included in the updated version.
- Correction uniforms for every faction: new color on American uniform, more variation on IJA, German and Soviets troops, etc.
- For German soldiers: More helmets variation, faces variation, add new units (Waffen SS, Volkssturm and Fallschirmjager + Luftwaffe cadet/trainees), etc.
- New weapons arrangement for every faction

Ring of Steel: Abandon All Hope (Ring of steel)
- Contents from Pacific Theater is now included in the updated version.
- Correction uniforms for every faction: new color on American uniform, more variation on IJA, German and Soviets troops, etc.
- For German soldiers: More helmets variation, faces variation, add new units (Fallschirmjager, Luftwaffe field infantry + cadet/trainees and Volkssturm), etc.
- New weapons arrangement for every faction

Fall of Berlin: 3.2 version (Eviction, Black Cats, Blowtorch & Corkscrews, Breaking Point, Heart of the (Grenades) Reich and Downfall)
- Contents from Pacific Theater is now included in the updated version.
- Correction uniforms for every faction: new color on American uniform, more variation on IJA, German and Soviets troops, etc.
- For German soldiers: More helmets variation, faces variation, add new units (Waffen + Allegemeine (lookalike) SS, Volkssturm, Hitler Jugend, Fallschirmjager and Kriegsmarine Naval Infantry), etc.
- New weapons arrangement for every faction

1) Extra textures folders also included within each mod. Please read our instruction carefully if you wanna use them!
2) Please read our instruction carefully before you install this mod.
3) Not recommend to play them in the Zombie mode.

PS. Although I really want to see more of the historical and educational content in future video games, that doesn't mean I expect it to be 100% accurate. Due to the fact that it was NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE indeed to create the historical-based games with fully corrected historical details on them. Mainly because of the limited time, lack of information and insufficient research, gameplay, budgets, interference of publishers and the third parties, also present days political agenda and etc. Thus, I don't really want to be so serious with the details, just only 70-80% accuracy is fine enough for my expectation of the historical accuracy of videogames.

But the problem is, a certain amount of historical-based games were made so poorly, so many mistakes had been found and some of them are totally unacceptable. Just for my favorite here alone, Call of Duty World at War, I can only give the accuracy rate for only 40-50%! (I can surely make lists of the mistakes if I want to, there would be hundreds of them) And that's the main reason why we created these mods for you guys who really interested in the authenticity stuff. But due to the few amounts of original 'vanilla' materials provided by Treyarch, large scale mistakes that we have no idea how to fix them (like maps and environments), and some other technical problems while we were modding. So, I'm afraid its accuracy still not reached a satisfying level as I want it to be, but at least that what we can do for now.

what about the tank battle in hard landing. Something to fix the damage values so that the shermans manage to breach the japanese armor without losses. Historically, Japanese tanks were great against chinese tanks but Shermans cut through them like paper. Is there a mod that replicates this behavior? Because the Elite mod doesn't and there's no option to change damage values in the mod tools or INI files. thanks
