This is a pretty good Metroidvania.
It can get a little grindy sometimes, though.
Not bad, but probably wait for it to go on sale.

Amusing bosses, not punitive.
You max out your skills and gears then you are ready. Maxing means something. You become powerful.
It requires to grind maps by replaying some of them but this is ok. It is interesting. And not mandatory.

There is a load of different monsters. A load of skills and weapons for different play styles. A fair number of maps. Musics are really good. Fighting is fun. Exploration is good with secrets to find. Not too linear, not too labyrinthine.

There is also a challenge mode. It goes with timers. Kill everything on your way and reach the end before the chronometer reach its own. It helps to max out. It is not mandatory. You can replay any map any time as soon as you finished it once.
Some challenges are just reach the end, no monsters, lot of obstacles, in the given time.

It is fun to play.
Making 100% of the challenges is not impossible.

To get "A Foregone Conclusion" achievement, make sure the game saves when you complete an achievement. It gets bugged when you get an achievement on steam then you leave the save to go outpost faster.
