Is this game friendly?
I think someone has seen my deleted post before, it was about ice cream being a weird food for me to serve in tutorial, especially with flavours that I never knew before, since I live in Asia, Malaysia, and living cost isn't luxury for me to spent for Premium ice cream like Baskin Robin.

I am a decent player for Burger Shop 1 & 2. I enjoyed both games a lot not just bcs it used mouse. But also it's about understanding the customers to serve food more efficiently. It never feel too harsh from start to finish.

So, would you recommend me to give CSD 3 another try? I am confused that should I play with mouse or keyboard. If I play with keyboard, I may not find global key binding is friendly. Like when I see Chocolate, I may press C instead of Q as "Ingridient 1". If I play with mouse, I have to bear with either traveling through borders, or left keyboard, right mouse.

It feels very awkward to adapt for first 30 minds just with keyboard. Like closing Lid is "L", not "C". I want to listen to some genuine opinion about friendliness. Very appreciated, or tell me is older CSD easier to play.

You can have specific keys for each ingredient turned on per food instead of using universal keys (it's in the options) . If you do that, you can change the key for any ingredient/step during practice for any food in the food catalogue (press F1 during practice to set keybinds for that food).

That should make it easier to play with only keyboard. CSD 2 also has this kind of customization, but I'm not sure if the first CSD does.

That's the problem. I don't want spend too much time to change hotkeys just to find out that this game is too hard for me to learn. I am not someone who type really well, I type with 1 finger on each side instead of laying all fingers down. I also tend to use left hand side of keyboard more for gameplay.

I do aware of Chill mode, but that's equal to playing Sandbox for me... I want to learn instead, just don't know the fairness of difficulty.

I just play with the default ingredient hotkeys (which are usually the first letter of the ingredient, with some consistent exceptions like chicken being K, pretzel being Z, scallions being C, etc.) and memorize them, and I didn't really have any issues with all five star foods + max serving stations + no truck upgrades (until you start to get some of the really crazy food truck attacks or the levels that blitz you with 14 special orders in around 10 seconds). For the most part this is just a game about typing speed/accuracy, quick sight reading, and task prioritization. Muscle memory also comes into play on foods like King Potatoes and Bimbimbap where you want to throw down 5-6 of the same ingredients on every recipe, ideally in around half a second.

I play with mouse and I have gold on most missions.....it's just when stuff like burgers pop up that I can't do it cause it's too hard for me to read and memorize what ingredients I needed.

This game is very friendly, it's mostly people like you demanding all the challenges removed who are the problem of modern gaming. If you want to be pampered and cherished, go watch a movie - there you can imagine you are an action hero without actually needing to lift a finger, since movies require nothing from you. Or pay someone to give you a blowjob - lot of "friendliness" for absolutely minimal effort.

If you cannot memorize a few simple shortcuts, then the game is not for you, because CSD was always about memorizing procedures and then performing under time pressure. There is even the "chill" mode for little ladies like you, where the customers have infinite patience. Should be friendly enough...

Geez, young'uns today...

CSD 3 is AWFUL.

It is WAY WAY WAY WAY too hectic for no reason.

The first game let you finangle with how crazy you wanted it to become. But CSD3 starts out way too much right out the gate and there is no way to reduce that. There is no relaxation mode in CSD3.

I mean heavens forbid we have a preference for FUN instead of FRUSTRATION. Bruh if I want stress I'll just work more hours at my real job. I play games to RELAX AND HAVE FUN. The whole point of a game is providing an IMMERSIVE experience. Not a time trial.

CSD3 does have a relaxation mode and it's called Chill mode.
