Problem with Visas and handmaidens influence
Hello, sry for my average english but i would like to ask the author for a favor or maybe a clarification.

I just had to waste hours of my life (including replay from former saves 2 times ) trying to understand why my handmaiden went nuts after Visas appeared.

Ofc i figured out what went wrong thx to google, but the problem itself remains and i would like to ask if this could be "fixed" in future updates.

I play the english version with the english restored content mod and the droid planet mod.
I play a light - male character and just finished telos. Visas got triggered after i landed on dantoince and reentered the ebon hawk.

So here i am ( or was ). I had no influence with the handmaiden because she just joined few steps before and i didnt even managed to beat her in the first fight lection, which is the only way to get influence early on to push her above visas, at least thats what i think.

For some reason, after i spared visas i already had enough influence with her that the handmaiden went crazy, after i re-entered the ebon hawk a second time, BOTH the catfight cutscene AND the handmaiden-kreia cutscene where she expresses her mistrust against visas triggered.

After that the handmaiden was at the point where she refused to talk to me.

It doestn make any sense, the handmaiden i never talked to is crazy about another girl i just talked to for little bit. It doestn makes anysense and kinda breaks the playthrough.

Also for SOME REASON, at that point i was able to ask visas for her special powers, i was able to train her stuff, and she learned me how to use forcesight... WHY????? that was never possible in former playthroughs THAT EARLY ???

Its like visas started with max influence or something because the forcesight made her glow like a blue lightsaber.


I "think" this might has something to do with the mod or not. I dont care, if its the mod, plz fix it, if not, plz fix it anyways. It makes no sense that visas starts with such a high influence.

Any ideas or is this problem known well ?


edit: i dont use any other mods like save editor.

Just get a couple influence boosts with handmaiden before talking to Visas. As far as i know you are stuck now unless you start over, BUT maybe that can be fixed with the KSE. I dont use the save editor, so can't say either way if that route will change what influence you already have.
I dont think it is a bug to be fixed because Handmaiden is lily white GOOD and Visas is Sith. Handmaiden hates her! lol

I think i didnt express myself correctly. I dont need an afterward fix. I already fixed it by loading an former save and not speaking to visas until i get at least the 1 combat-influence boost with the handmaiden.

I think this situation shouldnt happen in the first place because it is highly unlogical, you cant avoid it because you cant know, and it destroys your whole playthrough wihtout telling the player why and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ why ??

This bad designflaw is like a trap for everyone who doestn know and simply breaks the playthrough, and thats why i ask the author of this mod to include a fix/change so that this "bug" ( yes for me its a total bug ) never bothers anyone anymore.

I hope it was clear this time.

Nothing to fix; since there's nothing wrong.

Also nothing changed- This is vanilla behavior.

If theres nothing wrong, there wouldnt have been such an unlogical situation like i tryd to explain. Sorry i thought you are trying to improve this game from its design flaws like i thought in my other post. Clearly i was mistaken. But this amateurish fanproject is still better than the vanilla version. so thx.
