Vitkan's Security System Script

Description
This script written by "Deer with Beer" (Vitkan earlier) detects any damaged or grinded blocks and triggers timer with specific prefix.

UPDATE: now you can set desired percent of damage which will trigger alarm. 90% by default (to prevent alarm triggered by accidental thruster damage), see comment in script.

Good for security anti-griefing systems - it will trigger alarm if someone will try to grind functional block or simply damage it.

Triggering timer make it universal - you can simply add whatever you want in it.

HOW TO USE:
- Place two timers and programmable block;
- Set first timer to run the program and start itself, trigger it;
- Rename second timer - add [Security] in it's name, for example "[Security]Timer Alarm";
- Add whatever you want in second timer to build your own security system.

You can change needed prefix in code itself, there's a comment for it.

Thanks to Mahtrok for further script upgrades, such as damage percentage and "if name contains" check instead of "if name begin with"!

Respect to Maxyall for thumbnail poster. He already added it to his Commercial LCD pack.

Well, its not designing a game, its just a script update, small simple task for an AI. :P

I never get anyone to help me with my projects, every coder I meet tells me "Do it yourself" when I can't learn to code, even the ones who know that tell me that in a mocking way to troll me.

Since AI is here, it can do the work I can't do. And those people who trolled me all these years getting pissed off at me for AI taking their jobs, I laugh at them. I don't want AI to replace good people though but, its an indiscriminate sword I guess.

Sorry for late reply, I didn't get a reply notification. :P

I just hope that designing a game to be really fun would remain exclusive human job 😅

Well, wasn't my work, GPT did it. :P

I asked for someone's help in a coding discord, but the only person responding was a jackass who likes to troll people, so I asked GPT and it did everything without ridiculing me once.

Its times like this I think its great AI is gonna replace people at everything. :|

The credits portion might get a little confusing with all the updates and stuff. I tried to put some credits at the top of my upload.

I've got an update for your script, I dunno how to upload it to the workshop yet, but I also wanted to ask prior. It takes the timer block out of the requirement of running the script for one and adds some echo output to show the script is functioning.

I was looking for something that turns my vessel/vehicle hostile if someone grinds the thing, can this do the same?

Ikr? It's so cool. People can look at the ads and actually find mods they probably never would have found

Yep, 90% of those ads are related to something made by community :lunar2019piginablanket:

I actually heard of this through the advertisements strewn around a city project one of my friends is working on lol
