Hidden deep within the ancient halls of enigmatic Ultimyr, lay the hallowed study of the Sorcerer Aghanim. Milennia of knowledge and experience were dictated in the seemingly endless corridors of the library; knowledge that the Hidden Council feared would cause chaos and destruction should any of it ever leave Aghanim’s chambers. The council banished Aghanim from Ultimyr, and sealed away his study that no mortal eye might gaze upon it. It had remained dormant until the curiosity of The Sorcerer’s son, a magus, lead to a secret passageway into the study. With feverish intent, manuscripts flew left and right as the magus absorbed each note, each detail, and each experiment into his brain. Only a month had passed, and the grand magus emerged from his father’s study having read every chapter of every book. "How curious," the magus quipped, seeing that the powers he had once controlled surged with a new untamed energy that was beyond the understanding of Ultimyr’s finest. Forged with arcane alloy, a heart was constructed to channel and harness the powers within him.
