Sat on the beach, staring out to the horizon to where his native land one stood above the waves, a flash of red bobbing in the shoreline stirred Yurnero from his meditation.

The faceless mask of the Emperor of the Isle of Masks, wrapped in the tattered remains of ceremonial robes and battle armor. Clearly, it had been cast out before the sinking of his land, intended for the lineage to continue for as long as possible.

Rigging together the armor and ribbons as best he could, Yurnero donned the mask and became the final Emperor of a vanished land and a people who were no more.
