wow, at first glance it seems fairly simple, but MAN it sure wasn't. Took quite a while to complete. Very nice map. Keep up the good work.

Wow, we've got a masterpiece here !
Awesome puzzles, graphics and atmosphere !
Wonderful level, thanks ;)
davmarrub Sep 16, 2014 @ 7:40am
You have developed your idea very well. The puzzles were great. I just have to say that maybe this is too long and should be splitted in two levels
warlock Aug 16, 2014 @ 7:25pm
Great level! Challenging puzzles and beautifully put together as well. Thank you.
Petutski Aug 15, 2014 @ 7:04pm
An Awesome Excellent map. I even enjoyed the power switch section. I have only one gripe: Having the laser redirection cube redirect itself as it transported by the sendificator seems to violate several laws of physics. Convervation of mass, perpetual motion, etc. Still, how can I take issue with the inventors intentions! Maybe the device should be a RepliSendificator. Think what fun it would be to spawn duplicate cubes at the end of the laser beam! Great job!
ZedXenon Aug 3, 2014 @ 12:42pm
Okay, being long can be somewhat circumvented by the save system you implemented. That's nice.

And the solutions, while they took me a while, were indeed very clever.

Fantastic map overall.

@quaternary: There is another way, that does not rely on extremely quick movement. Hint: read the sign next to the lever ;)
evandeo #MLG Jul 30, 2014 @ 4:02pm
Great map!
quaternary Jul 27, 2014 @ 1:10pm
Power room is amazing!! Waterfall room is really nice too - it might make a nice wallpaper :)

Wondering if my solution to it is intended - use the delay between pulling the lever and power coming on to make a shot past the last fizzler ?
HMW  [author] Jul 26, 2014 @ 10:24am
Wow, you are fast :) Thanks for confirming that it works!
TheCakeIsAlive Jul 26, 2014 @ 10:18am
It indeed doesn't crash anymore on Linux. Thanks!
HMW  [author] Jul 26, 2014 @ 10:01am
I uploaded a new version that hopefully solves the crashing on Mac / Linux.
(I could not test it on a Mac because I don't own one, but the underlying platform is pretty similar to Linux and I know it works there.)

This version also has a new way of saving progress, that I think is a bit more user friendly.
Advenight Jul 13, 2014 @ 4:51am
Unfortunately the game crashes for me too - Mac OSX 10.9
srpilha Jun 28, 2014 @ 3:45pm
Everything looks great and it's a wonderful idea... but the game crashes for me as well, same point as the others: when pressing the second button while the first is already pressed (no matter in what order, no matter if you press it with a cube or standing on it).
Der HammerMeister Jun 14, 2014 @ 2:51am
As I reminisce of the beauty of this test and the other one, I am GLaD to present you with two simple tests featuring this same famous device via BEE2:
Sender & Catcher
Interweaving Yin and Yang
Enjoy, and thank you for donating your device to the Aperture Laboratories' PeTI.
Still lovin' these maps! It just goes to show that Science never gets old, even though it may decay over time.

Wow, I really liked this one. Also how did you make that one room with the waterfall
HMW  [author] May 18, 2014 @ 11:55am
@Molar_Mass: I just installed the Linux beta yesterday, and I can confirm that it does indeed crash at the same point. So at least I can investigate it now, and hopefully fix it.
webbertee May 18, 2014 @ 3:47am
Probably the best map I played so far.
Great desing, new game mechanic, fascinating puzzles!
Timerider May 11, 2014 @ 3:07pm
Great work. Very well thought out. I had played the first part quite a while ago, and didn't know there was a second part until now.

lol @ "man cave"
Molar_Mass May 1, 2014 @ 9:34pm
Game crashes for me too when pressing both buttons; using beta under linux.
MagicMuffin Mar 28, 2014 @ 2:27pm
This was absolutely amazing! Would love to see a successor as a coop map as well! Very, very impressive work!
HMW  [author] Mar 25, 2014 @ 2:01pm
@hxka: That is frustrating. Right now I don't have any idea what is going wrong... If I think of something, I'll let you know.

@Bowsakirby: yes, well spotted! While designing that test, I considered putting two buttons there, but by the time you have one cube in there, the puzzle is effectively solved and getting the second one is just more work. I think that it doesn't add much of a challenge.
Bowsakirby Mar 23, 2014 @ 7:58pm
This puzzle was AMAZING! Really made me think. ^^
Also, I was able to get both regular cubes in the small ending room since when you sendificate the one cube into it, it blocks the laser, allowing you to grab the 2nd cube, climb the stairs, place it on the machine, and walk back to the send button; makes me wonder if having two door open buttons would be more appropriate... although if this was the case and you didn't know what to do, I could see that getting frustrating, haha
Thank you for such a great map, and amazing Testing Element!!
TheCakeIsAlive Mar 23, 2014 @ 2:02pm
@HMW: it didn't. I removed the map manually and resubscribed, it downloaded anew, but that didn't help :(
HMW  [author] Mar 23, 2014 @ 1:09pm
@hxka: That is the first time I hear of that happening. I didn't look at your save file because that's a security risk, but it sounds like the map got corrupted during the download.

Can you try removing the map from your queue and re-subscribing? It should download a new copy.
marnikema Mar 23, 2014 @ 12:04pm
great work!!
TheCakeIsAlive Mar 22, 2014 @ 6:25pm
Game crashes when I press both buttons in the first puzzle. I verified the game's cache, it's ok.

Nevermind, I THOUGHT I was trapped on my first attempt because I didn't realize you could turn the power back off again.

On my second attempt, I set up portals so I could escape the room, then realized I can toggle the power. So now that I think about it, I never was stuck, I just thought I was.
HMW  [author] Mar 2, 2014 @ 11:58am
@unbridledExüberance: I'm curious how you managed to get trapped there. I designed it so that should never happen:
If the power is off, you can get anywhere via portals.
If the power is on, it depends on where you are:
- large office area: turn power back off;
- security office: press button to open doors, go back to large office area;
- entrance hallway or small area near metal door: use portals to get to security office (via small barred windows.)

If I still missed something, please let me know and I'll fix it.
[Linux] unbridledExüberance Mar 2, 2014 @ 11:27am
The last puzzle was excellent. It took me a while to figure it out. The only problem with the map is that you can trap yourself in the power room, which is what I did on my first play.

I really like this mechanic. I think it adds FAR more to the game than the gels and excursion funnels did.
Aiko Xyloto Mar 1, 2014 @ 11:48am
i love the concept and the custom model and skins for the beam machine! plz make more of these!
Solatrus Jan 18, 2014 @ 1:07pm
Dang I liked this even more than Sendificate. Keep up the good work!
