Nice map, I personaly more like maps where you have to think trough you puzzle and this was more like a skill map to me. I spended more time to actually make those jumps then to figure out how they work out. Also the secret way wasen't that hard to find but it was pretty fun to watch it happen ;-). But stil it was a fun map and like many others i like what you withe the lasers never seen it before.

Nice level, thanks! Though, I personally dont like too much on jumping. Lasers had some fresh ideas. Most I liked the nice layout and the effert on decorations :)

Liked the Lazer puzzle, the Jumps were tricky to do. Thanks for trying my map too! I think you found a slightly different way to solve mine.

Played last night, I like this map and I like the jumps. I see why people find them a bit wonky but I like them. Maybe if the highest platform with the second button was one notch lower, and you didn't sort of clip the edge of the platform when you got there, it would feel more natural... I don't know. I love the laser relay puzzle: it is ingenious.

Both parts of the puzzle had some clever ideas. The jumping part worked very well and making relays (or however you want to call them) part of a puzzle was interesting. Good work!

@TAW | [Jako] After you activated the blue gel get back down and jump in the portal inside the cage with the help of the blue gel. You must be on the bottom floor.

This room was very well designed and the puzzles seemed to tie together in a nice little knot. The room with the blue gell did give me a little trouble but that was mainly due to the engine behaving weird with my jumps; after several jumps I finally got up to the top button in that room to hit it.

Overall the puzzles were simple yet clever and gave the feeling of accomplishment from this moderately difficult room. Good job =D

New version out, i think i got all the glitch :)

Tweaked both puzzle, laser are more easy to install. I also added a panel to be able to get more speed gel just in front of the panel you use to portal up. And i had to remove the flip panel thers a bug in the editor with them you can't connect 2 things to them, well you can but the panel flip anyway with only one target. I also make some small change to the jump puzzle.

@Glifter Big thank you that was a major glich :)

@nayre_trawe no shooting under the fizzler was not the solution, you need to get on the very top at the second switch to change the angle of the panel at the bottom, from that panel you will be able to get on the other side. For the laser try the new version it will probably help you, to solve it you need the 4 laser relay activate but still be able to use your 2 portal.

Ok - I tried this again and, as others have said, there is a gap below the fizzler in the room on the left (or right, depending on your perspective) that allows you to get through. Is that the "correct" way to get through? I ask because I was not able to get onto the ledge by making the jump onto the gel from the high ledge and then portalling through the floor to that high vertical panel - I kept coming up just a little short. I am still stuck on the turret room since I can't find a way to get the propulsion gel across the floor - I can get the flip panel turned by using just portals but it closes when I put a portal under the gel so I can't get the gel in the room. I must be missing something because others have obviously cleared the level.

Nice puzzle. Enjoyed the laser idea. I went through this twice. First just to figure it out and second time to try and find shortcuts. Like the others mentioned there is a space under Fizzler. Also you can finish the laser section just by using the laser to open the gel door. Didn't need to activate the flip panel at all. And because of this you can get two blocks out of the laser room, meaning you don't even need the block from the momentum section.

It doesn't matter which way you start, each side give you one cube and you need 2 for the door.

I agree with the others who said that the laser puzzle was a great idea - very clever and fun. However, I got just past that part and can't seem to figure out what to do next. I can't make the jump in the room on the left and I wasn't able to figure out how to get past the turrets - plus, I am not sure which way I am supposed to go first. I am a bit tired, though, and I will give it another go tomorrow morning.

@elfarmerino sorry you didn't like the turret it was my first inspiration for that room steal the cube from the turret at high speed :)

Great map. I loved the concept you used in your laser puzzle section. I always love new concepts in laser puzzles. One problem with the map is you can shoot a portal underneath the fizzler in the momentum room alowing you to skip all of the jumping(there is a gap between the fizzler and the room with the cube)Otherwise a well crafted map.

@Timkins you have problem with the second jump because you need to start from the bottom floor, just walk on the blue gel and jump in the portal between the glass wall.

@Cerberus yes some FPS drop :( im not sure if i can do something to help, i check the getting stuck in the tractor beam thanks didn't know that.

@Zaibatsu No you are suppose to get on top first i need to fix that.

I experimented a FPS drop too in this chamber. However, very very smart laser puzzle. Wondering what is the top floor for. It wasn't easy. Cool!

I didnt need to get to the top floor in the right chamber. I jumped on the blue gel from the first floor and from there into a portal between the glass walls and came out on the top white wall and flew directly through the fizzler. Is it how its supposed to be?
Edit: Ah yeah and I liked the map anyways :D Nice laser puzzle. The part with the turrets was pretty clear to me.

The thing that i noticed when i launched the map is that i have some FPS drop but still playable (550 ti). i also noticd with the beam in the begining that you can get stuck between the 2 doors. The part with the blue gel was very easy for me, but the part with the turrets and the laser beams were hard and confusing.

The problem with this map is the FPS drop but other than that its good !

Okay, turrets were easy using the laser to kill them ... didn't consider that previously... as for the jump... I cannot get to the upper button... I cannot find a way to jump onto the bounce gel with enough height to get to it... so Im obviously missing something...

You kill the turrets by activating the right side, after you can use the portal with laser on the flip panel + the second reflex beam to kill all the turret. For the jump you only need to let yourself go did you activate the second switch on top, it should change the angle of the bottom plate you use the bottom plate in angle to fly on the otherside.

I really liked the laser puzzle... a very nice interaction between the two sides and the cubes. I didn't like the mechanic for exiting past the turrets. There's no clear indication of how to kill the turrets... since you can't drop anything onto them sufficiently to kill them all... and running the gauntlet doesn't guarantee hitting the rebound plates up the shaft. On the other side, the jump to get the cube is too easy to miss.... out of a dozen times, I struck on the lip of the pit under the fizzler 11 times... there's just too much fine grain precision needed in the drop to get the speed to get the distance... unless Im doing it wrong.
