the absolute best series, give me more, give me more. I'm pleased to have finished 1 & 3 w/o help, needing help on part 2b only. Really fantastic stuff. 7 of 5 stars.

I have to say , this is one of the best if not , the best test chamber i have played , and thats alot considering i play about 40 test chambers a day.

Awesome work man, thanks for sharing your levels :)
HiddenPerson Jun 8 @ 8:34am
The Puzzle makes you think outside the box (no pun intended) and the ending was lovely.
Atlas Jun 8 @ 7:39am
Another slight problem: that bit at the end with the gel was a bit distracting.
Atlas Jun 8 @ 7:38am
That was great! If only the ending was a touch longer, but still great! I couldn't tear myself away into bed until I'd finished!
gh8735 Jun 3 @ 4:05pm
Awesome. I love the outside part at the end.
lfairban May 28 @ 9:47am
Good job! That was very inovative.
Fartin_newb May 28 @ 9:42am
Alot of distraction objects made it really hard for me to find the exit. Great map really. Thumbs and keep on producing thanks!

Awesome level! Very creative. The amazing heights, the atmosphere, the scary but exhilarating ending, it was all great. I have solved Decay 1 and 3, but haven't been able to solve #2. Still working on it...

Please create more maps!

Unbelievable. These 3 maps were without doubt the best maps I have ever played. I got goosebumbs at the end... and throughout was so tricky. Please keep these amazing maps coming.
Hookers and Blow May 7 @ 2:55pm
Another great map! Thanks again.

Probably my favorite map so far. The setting and atmosphere were amazing, and the puzzles were extremely creative (especially the last one). Great work!

...Banjax you are simply a legend!... having to use the other two chambers to solve the puzzle was sheer brilliance my friend...such creativity beyond words...the ending was msgnificent!... the best that I've seen in all of the puzzles that I've playd so far... well done mate... cheers.

Perhaps my favorite Portal maps I have ever played! Very creative, asthetically pleasing, and they stump me - but in a good way! I didn't get frustrated, I just got even more excited to figure it out. BanJaxe: if you are not currently employed full-time in the career path of game making, then I'd say hop to it, so you can start getting properly compensated for bringing the world creations like these.
dues Feb 10 @ 8:07am
Well done set. Beautiful and creative puzzles.

Great ending

Ok, I had started these some time ago but stopped at D2 when I could not figure it out. Back to all three today and had to come make a comment. Really enjoyed these. When the light came on, in my brain, in D3, the final portion of the puzzle I just smiled, I had seen a part of the solution and did not realize it untill I saw some of the other parts.
Very good work. I put these up there with Portal Era for originality and overall design. These were tougher however, really had to use my brain. Thanks Very Much!

Quickly solved, tho' very puzzled when I thought I had to go to the other side to solve the puzzle over there! . You are obviously very talented! And you have very nice way of designing your maps, making them feel 'real' and very exiting to play! As I aproached the end of your map my heart was racing! Thank you very much!!

Wonderful finale to a great series. Love all the little details you included, and the "Decay" theme showed throughout. Excellent puzzles. Very tough, but well thought-out, good use of hints, and a satisfying finish. Thank you!
ADMNtek Dec 2, 2013 @ 3:48pm

Fandral Nov 30, 2013 @ 5:01am

@Artorias
Yeah I knew about this solution, I tried to make it very tricky, but I guess you beat me. :)

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it. :)

Great design, great puzzles, great scripts! Here's my rating:

Puzzle design: 10 out of 10
Very well thought levels, nicely done! Innovative ideas, you must be a genius (Seriously, where do you get these awesome ideas from?!
---
Puzzle "fun": 8 out of 10
Very hard (and frustrating over time) but reaching finally the exit door after thinking with portals for a long time is just unbelievable.
---
Design: 10 out of 10
Incredible look! Just awesome.

AsinoEsel Nov 2, 2013 @ 2:13pm
Story: 7 out of 10 - Who's in control of the facility? Why does the facility rebuild itself when GLaDOS is off (Well, there's no GLaDOS commentary, so i assume the map lies between Portal 1 and 2 on a timeline)? Many question, but the remain unanswered :/ But the ending was simply great!
---
Script events: 9 out of 10
I wasn't bored for a single minute when playing the map pack. In every map happens something different which motivated me a lot. Again very innovative ideas (jumping into a cube delivery tube etc.). Even though some events looked a bit glitchy and weird you did a great job!
-----
OVERALL RATING:
9.3 out of 10 (I gave you those 0.5 bonus points because you're awesome and put a lot of work into these maps, keep up the awesome work! :D)

Fun. Thank you.
dmuk Oct 14, 2013 @ 7:29pm
By the way, reading previous comments, the final "face plant" (face plate) takes a LOT of speed. Make sure the way is amply prepared.
dmuk Oct 14, 2013 @ 7:23pm
Excellent! Loved the finale also, after all that work with "found treasures"...
Phoenix_Darmargo Oct 12, 2013 @ 5:22pm

Lightmare =tgt= Sep 4, 2013 @ 6:53am
I loved it! Excellent escalation of atmosphere and difficulty, topped off with a very memorable ending. Not even a single minor complaint comes to mind. Great job! :)

For those that would be so kind, try my PeTI chambers?

Wow, this was short but good. I gave up at the last part but read ProfDave64's comment and never realized that was the case. And then the rest was simple.

One complaint: I Wanted MORE ENDING! That light in the face ended that :(
the new cool Aug 9, 2013 @ 7:11pm
Good challenge and very nice atmosphere. Thank you!
AsinoEsel Aug 8, 2013 @ 6:28am
You are the master of trolling.
So simple but so hard.
Great ending btw :)
ProfDave64 Aug 3, 2013 @ 6:12pm
Nice level! I really liked the final puzzle!

I could see where someone might complain that there shouldn't be unused objects in a level, but those couple of cubes down there, supposedly part of some other levels, didn't bother me -- perhaps because I quickly decided I didn't need them.

I love how we think we are seeing one or two other self-contained levels, from a distance... but that actually they are part of this level, and serve no function other than to get us the gel that we need!

I think the formula is:
"Tricky puzzle" + "I am able to solve it reasonably quickly" = "I think it's awesome!"

So, this level worked for me! Thumbs up!
Reaper8U Aug 2, 2013 @ 7:55am
oh... ok then
BanJaxe  [author] Aug 2, 2013 @ 7:55am
@Reaper [8U]² ☠

Because the other destroyed test chambers had to have something in them.
Reaper8U Aug 2, 2013 @ 7:51am
but then why is there such a cube? :O
BanJaxe  [author] Aug 2, 2013 @ 5:01am
@Reaper [8U]² ☠
There's no lasers in the solution for part 3.
Reaper8U Aug 1, 2013 @ 3:06pm
uh... i got a problem... you know the cube you use to redirect lasers? i lost it down into the darkness.... you should do something about it
iLee Aug 1, 2013 @ 12:42pm
I was definitely giving myself enough run up, and the "runway" was thoroughly and completely covered with speed gel.

However, I've just now been playing "Expendable Human Launch Vehicle" by Ceski and began experiencing the exact same problem with another jump involving speed gel. I've always played with an Xbox controller, but it occurred to me to try using the keyboard to attempt the jump instead. And voila: using a keyboard, I cleared the jump on the first try, easily.

So the problem I've been experiencing is apparently caused by using the controller. It just doesn't make the jumps as high, for some reason. I haven't tried it with Decay 3 yet, but I expect it will resolve the issue.

Anyway, thanks for the levels and the quick reply.
