like all of your maps, the graphics and textures were amazing and i was in the first level and i shot the lazer in the first receptical, and i found the antline behind the small blocks but i cant get to it. please help :( also out of interest, how many secrets are there?

I found a bug, when I was messing with the console I crashed the game by typing in 'ent_remove_wieghted_cube' this only happened once though. But these maps are really fun!

wonderful map as usual in your serie.
Mysterious and adventure ambiance, not to hard but not to easy to. Good balance !

it not fits there, when it touches a trigger it just disappears (got killed) and activates the hidden brush that pops out from behind the wall as if it was placed there... Its a func_door that was placed as the antline sticking out from wall (to get proper lighting on compile), and starts closed (inside the wall). I had to use these tricks, but the result is what matters :)
the antline phys object starts on the wall with motion disabled and then falls when the button is pressed.

Thanks! I actually meant how do you make a func_physbox (that's what the antline tiles are, right?) fit in a specific place, I wasn't asking about the changing of textures. It probably has something to do with placing a trigger near that place, which makes the physbox disappear and the brush to appear...I'm sure I'll figure it out when I take a look at the .vmf. Thanks again!

it was difficult because you cant put changeable overlays on physic brushes.
There are 2 hidden brush in the wall and based on if I want an activated or deactivated antline, I move the right one out to appear, or I hide both when its not fixed yet, plus some logic controls that if activated but no antline yet, then the indicators only lights up till the broken part and it sparkles, if fixed then it lights up the fixed part and the antline after that, etc...
Download the map's Hammer .vmf source, its in the description, along with most of my maps' sources...

I have this map in my favorites for...I don't know how long, but I remembered that fixing-the-antlines mechanic just now and I'm wondering if you could tell me how you made it. I have a little experience in hammer, so you can explain without any details.

Fixing the antlines and utilizing an upside-down door was pretty damn creative. A great map, fun to play, just like all your other maps I've played so far.

well since you need the laser to open the exit, if you could remove the antline it would be useless :)

I like the idea of having to fix the antlines first, offers some interesting possibilities, although I did spend a little time trying to remove the first broken piece from the wall to reuse elsewhere before looking for a second piece. some nice use of lasers too

oh god just excellent ! great mapping and great style and great logic ! I love the part of installing the antline panel ! (thank god I got imagination) also at first I was frustrated placing the reflection cube in the little corner.but then it comes to me push it into the corner and it feels great !!!

no, you can only carry a physic object. Also because I cant have an indicator overlay on a brush, the carried brush gets destroyed upon placement and a hidden brush gets enabled on the wall. I dont know if its possible with scripts, but probably doable.

Hi DaMaGepy, at 25 secs in your posted video picking up the antline, can it also be done with a brush?!
Meaning I like to be able to pick up the brush move it to another location and shoot a portal on it.

I liked the map until the bit where you reattached wall panels. I had no idea to do that for awhile, then you placed 3 panels when you only needed 2. I was getting extremely frustrated trying to figure out why the blue wall panel wasn't working, then realized there was a 3rd one... You shouldn't place red herrings like that. 3/5 because of the panels.

I managed to recover all the cubes without fixing the cables, then i realized what I shouòd have done! Nice map, liked the half life style "vent crawling" part :)

You know, if you design the maps to look like half of the swithes and features doesn't work, it's not gonna be an interesting play...
Like, how the heck am I supposed to know that placing a part of wall that fall off will activate the laser? In Portal 2 half of the bloody things fall apart and you don't have to do that. And, for that matter, since when fixing the light will fix the cables?
Your maps are very frustrating, I've just played through 1-3. And frustrating isn't a very good response. You spend hours of trying to figure out a puzzle, just to see that the key element is an element that is not supposed to be the key one?!
And that's sad, because I played the Fourth map first, then the "No money" map and they were brilliant! The puzzles were clever and difficult, and the maps were really well designed. I immediately wanted to try more, and, sadly I cannot say anything good about the previous maps.

Hi, @DaMaGepy. Actually I solved the map so very stupid. ahahah. I did not realize that Portalgun also provided the orange portal. Also erred in not following the sequence of points. But that signaling (cube falling) above the Portalgun confused me greatly. Anyway this map is its magnificent. Congratulations. And thanks for watching my gameplay.

@psychoBR: lol, you do not pay attention to signages at all? You trried to solve dot 3 after dot 1 and skipped dot 2. Then you only used one portal and totally failed to portal out oldschool from the hole using blue/yellow... now wonder it took so long :)
I hope you watched the intended solution walkthru vid after :)
