I don't see the need to be play this map. Better puzzles exist.

I don't see the need for the upper cube receiver or the flip panel.

Easy but fun for a short time. Thanks.

The editor isnt 'Nooby', but sadly simple
At least make me able to have stuff like 'destroyed' and '1960-80/90's'!!! Because i have a mac

Very easy, yes, but better than 50% of the rubbish people contribute every day and expect to get thumbs up ratings for. Some of the stuff on the Steam front page is no better than this.

this map is funny but too easy

A super hardcore Hammer user, huh? Hammer for use with Portal and Portal 2 is only good for those who really want to go above and beyond what is available in those two games; to go more advanced. The PeTI editor is perfect for those players who are just in it for creating their own tests (like me) (even with the BEE mod in place), creating test chambers very rapidly for exporting to Hammer with a console command, or just wanting to create chambers at a more leisurely pace than with Hammer. I do admit the PeTI editor does have its limits, but it is the simplicity that most players seek.

@deli73:
I am a moderator on the forum he posts his mod on. I think I know. http://forums.thinkingwithportals.com/post79490.html#p79490

Also Macs suck balls - the only thing they are good for are developing with the Adobe suite. Get a PC and then you will be able to use Hammer.

the thing is, I can't use hammer(i have MAC!!!), and BEEMOD is good enough for me...
(ps the BEE stands for Ben's Extended Editor incase you didn't know)
ChickenMobile  [author] Oct 24, 2012 @ 11:20pm
@deli73: BEE mod? I can put all the things I can usually do in Hammer without using hammer! Thanks bud! (sarcasm self-test complete)
No offence to BenVlodgi as he has helped a lot of people who don't want to learn hammer. But if you want to do something properly, use the advanced tool.

@machmanx: I probably have more plays on this pathetic excuse for a map than most great PTI puzzles out there.

I plan to release mah new map soon too.
MachManX Oct 23, 2012 @ 7:43pm
Hahaha, just kidding dude. Just the fact that you made this map and that it required some effort to finish the puzzle is better than doing nothing. It's just that your description made me respond the way I did. So keep it around...for the N00Bs ;)
Sunroses Oct 23, 2012 @ 1:11pm
try BEEMOD! it's a perfect in-between! you can get some of the extra stuff you used to need hammer to use, and it's still a quick in-game editor!
ChickenMobile  [author] Oct 23, 2012 @ 6:25am
I want to delete this map... sooo badly.
MachManX Oct 20, 2012 @ 8:29pm
Wow this chamber was N0000000BY! I mean I didn't have to think to complete this chamber. Such a N00B effort by a non-N00B! LOL

nice and easy! nice work ;). love Deadmau5 from Toronto (i m not Deadmau5:o but i will nver tell :) )
Sunroses Sep 10, 2012 @ 5:15pm
oh, it looks like hondosodabob kinda said the same thing, but seriously, hammer is hard to get the hang of.
Sunroses Sep 10, 2012 @ 5:12pm
The other editor is easier to use and is good for making basic puzzles. It is true that hammer is way more creative and in most aspects it IS better. However, hammer is incredibly hard to figure out and doesn't run on macs, which sucks.
HONDO.SodaBob Aug 23, 2012 @ 2:47pm
I agree that Hammer maps can be better than in-game editor maps, and I've worked with Hammer before (heck, I've been using "Hammer" since before it was Hammer; it was originally WorldCraft made by some dude in Canada for editing Quake maps, and I still have the original install disk!). But I do like that they included the quick and dirty puzzle editor in this game - it let's those of us who don't (or no longer) have time to learn how to make puzzles in Hammer still have some fun! :)

This is actually a fun little puzzle. You can get around part of the puzzle, though; remove the "portable" surface just to the right of the right hand Hard Light Surface emitter. Otherwise, you can just "portal" the hard light surface out over the water, walk over and grab the ball, and thus get around part of the puzzle.

This test is goofy. I like it.

@tanger2b is on vacation : Dam right homie.

I like how you just outright said: This map sucks, go play coop.
