heh i like hot the crafting recipe is down to a "T" since 3 hounds teeth (the three spikes) 1 spear (the body) and a tentacle skin/thing (i forget the name) (the covering which makes it tentacle spike!)

If I were you I would have made a weapon of exactly the same specifics as the Tentacle Spike but different looks.

Some sort of Spiked Spear.
1x Spear, 3x Hound's Tooth, 2x Rope,

That way the Tentacle Spike is infinite but just in another form.

Tentacle spots are just a finite and rarer then the tentacle spike itself. I agree in the believable recipe but honestly I would rather the tentacles be renewable.

it should require 1 spear, 1 tenticle spots, and 3 hounds teeth! that way it isn't super easy to get and you still gotta deal with tenticles for 1 :P

@Deroxis are you sure you don't just want someone to handcuff one hand behind your back and make you walk ten miles in winter barefoot through massive packs of hounds to get a tentacle spike? :p You can make it as hard as you want for yourself. Don't like it, don't abuse it. Simple as that.

@ThisGUYIsAwsome Thats the point, the tentacle is one of the most powerful weapons in the game and being able to craft it with such easy to find items is just stupid. Either make it so you need a shadow manipulator or make the recipe harder, At the moment the "mod" will just ruin the game.

I swear this workshop is quickly being filled with garbage mods like this, making all the nonrenewable things craftable is really pointless. Also there is probably already a mod that makes all things craftable, making this one in particular useless. This doesn't even deserve to be called a mod really since it's little more than a lazy excuse to make something that is normally hard to get (for a good reason) easy.

well this is fantastic. i remember i one went to a swamp to get sa few of these and somehow ended up surrounded by merms, 1 spider queen, a teir 3 spider nest, and a ton of tentacles. luckily i had the heart amulet, unluckily i got revived right above a tentacle spike and died again.
