I do have a Mutation in my Mutation Mod called "United We Stand Co-op" which only works in L4D2 survivor maps. It spawns the L4D1 bots and makes them follow the players around.

Also Rayman1103 can you make a mutation that lets you have all l4d2 and l4d1 characters all at the same time? like they all came together?

@aabicus - It should appear in the list of Mutations. Check and make sure the filters display Custom Mutations, not just Co-op.

@marcushasfun - It doesn't matter really. This version is only a Mutation, that supports the 13 official Campaigns. The non-Mutation version changes the Survivors models and talker files around, in order to work for all Campaigns.

Because Valve never added support for L4D2 bots. If it was possible I would have done it.

Hmm that's odd. There shouldn't be any issues like that. I'll have to look into it, but not sure if I'll have a problem. Thanks for reporting.

Something is wrong with this mutation. Rochelle died at the beginning of The Sacrifice map 2, and she never respawned until the end of the level. Also, the hitboxes seems more broken than normal... seriously, I've shoot a zombie with an ak47 in front of me and I've missed all the shots... maybe I suck, but I doubt if the crosshair is in the middle of its body.
I haven't any conflicting add-on.

Don't forget about the bug I think I found with Dead Center scavenge finale.
Gas cans don't spawn and highlight so you're just stuck there.

As well as any other finale after the credits end but you're stuck at the black screen.
You have to vote to skip and then it will eventually finish.

The radio dialogue and survivor conversations don't happen at Parish bridge finale.
Unfortunately I don't remember when exactly this started, but it wasn't always a problem.
I'm not sure about other conversations else where... or if it's from a Valve update.

It doesn't work on custom campaigns because each mission file and script file would need to be set and edited in order for it to function properly. There's really no easy way to support custom campaigns. Which is why I've also released a Survivor Swap mod, which changes survivor models and voices.

In your in-game Add-ons list, does Survivor Swap have red text? And if so, check the console and see what addons are conflicting with it.

This one is just a Mutation that only swaps the survivor set for the 13 official campaigns for co-op. It wont work on custom campaigns. My other Survivor Swap mod contains model replacements that change the survivors and their voice for all maps.

I see what you're saying. Well you can enter "sv_pausable 1" in the console and that will allow you to pause the game. It works for every mode.

If you're talking about my Survivor Swap mod, no there isn't a way. Because I needed to replace the L4D1 surivvor models with L4D2, and L4D2 survivor models with L4D1. Models already exist making any custom models not function.

No it isn't possible in the way where they'd follow you. In my United We Stand Mutation, the L4D1 bots from The Passing spawn but they only stand there and shoot the Infected.

@Zombiegenocidest & Vilikis - Hmm that is odd and shouldn't be happening. I haven't touched anything related to scripts, only edited a talker file for custom conversations. I'll look into those issues. They could be related to the fact I set this Mutation as its own mode, and not "coop".

@Mr.Wallace888: Fan of Chimney - For this Survivor Swap Mutation, yes. For my Survivor Swap Mod it wont. Just clarifying as some people are confused between the Mod and Mutation.

Also, I think you modified the scripts a little bit, too. Another thing I noticed was that whenever survivors die, there is no rescue closet, but when they respawn in the saferoom, they respawn at full health instead of 50 HP.

I've run through the Sacrifice on Advanced mode before, and I usually have little-to-no issues with the A.I. bots, but in this mutation, they seem to be especially brain-dead.

Not sure if it's just me and my friend, but on the parish map, no pills or adrenaline work properly. The side effects of adrenaline work properly, but all temporary health disappears as soon as it's added.

I just tested on Dead Center's finale and it works fine, all gascans spawn.

Only problem i enountered so far is on dead center, the finale, only one gas can will spawn.

@[GG] GenJoker :Gramps: - Sounds like you're playing my Survivor Swap Mod, not the Mutation. You'll need to restart L4D2 in order for the names to swap once it was installed. If that still doesn't work, then it's an issue with the Workshop.

not sure if someone brought this up but the names for the survivors are still the same for the survivors of that type of campaign like L4D2 will still have L4D2 survivors names over the L4D1 names and vicersa

Not really an "issue" in liking or not liking...
People have personal preference, or favorites.
That's all there is to it, really.
I don't have a problem with either set... I like both.
But sometimes I just miss the personalities of the first game's survivors...
As well as the environments of L4D1's original maps...
So therefore I honestly feel a lot of the maps in L4D2 are better with L4D1 survivors.
For me it has nothing to do with BS boycotts or being against ports like certain others.
We just simply have favorites, I don't see what's hard to understand.
He mentioned "story".... I don't feel Valve even completed what "story" there may be.
Gaps are still left to be filled, even still including L4D1 campaigns.
L4D isn't really a game to concern about story, in my opinion, it's not an RPG.
Can only use this on official maps right now anyway.
May as well leave "story" to the fan community.

The point of switching the survivors. I don't see why anyone would want to do that. All it does is to mess up the story.
