You're correct, I used BEEMOD 1.05... I have since started using 2.5.

Pretty nice one. Had the panel in the third room not been angled there would've been yet another interesting solution involving funnel sliding.

My only complaint: could use some autosaves (might as well since you're using BEEMOD if I'm not mistaken).

Strangely, when I saw the laser, the only portalable surface - the floor, and the 2 laser catchers , I knew EXACTLY what to do. this means the layout of the chamber is so good, that you can make the player think what you want him to and that's very important in mapping. well done!

I got the idea during my second map "Binary Cubed" but I didn't know how to make it work with what I had already done. The idea was put on the back burner until this chamber.

It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Loved the ending. I died when I was facing the door. Don't know if I did it right, I placed 2 portals on the ground and made the cube jump activating each laser reciever. Guess the timing was a bit off, if the door would've opened faster I would be out. Still, I got it, and it was awesome

Thank you for your kind comment. If you like a challenge, I've gotten comments that "Face of Fear", "Duma Key", and "Landlocked" are all fairly hard.

Andi, that was the weirdest thing I've seen in Portal. That was a most unique ending. The button thing in the previous chamber was pretty cool too. For that matter the whole map was a blast. Thanks for making it.

Place a portal up high when you come into the first room, place the next one at eye level. Walk through and just as you start to fall place a portal on the platform ahead of you then quickly look down and place the opposite portal on the floor. The momentum from the fall will give you enough boost to reach the button on the next island with the exit. Just place a portal near the platform and ease yourself onto it when you come through./

I did. Then I decided to take away the portability of the wall the laser was facing. I didn't like the way it looked with the first change I made.

Could it be that the obvious change you applied has been reverted? I saw it on the preview picture that you modified the last room the way I would have suggested but now it looks like the pre-fixed version again.

Very nice map, I liked it. The button situation was a bit awkward, I think you could do the same with just two or three buttons. I'm pretty sure I know the intended solution in the last room, as I have played Innocentive's map and a bunch of others with the same mechanics. Instead I killed the turrets and escaped without taking a bullet. It's an easy fix though.

Yes, the unique solution is in the last room and it sounds like you solved it the way it was intended.There is no way out of that room without take a bullet or two

I barely made it out of there alive ;D. I don't know if you were referring to the last room with that unique solution but I've seen what I did (which might have been unintended though) a couple of times already.
