Can you try inverting the colour scheme? Purp on Gold instead of Gold on Purp.
The current design looks good in portrait but does not stand out in game.

Someone finally found a way to make Silencer look coool. +1

Drop the gold middle bit in the jaw guard. Let Nortrom show off his magnificent chin!

I think the main problem with the helmet is how poorly it reads from a distance. The dark face gets lost inside the helmet (especially with the nose bit cutting away at it) and so with nothing but the nose cover and eye standing out it looks like a full helmet and he turns into a robot. That could just be me though.

thanks for your input. I really appreciate it! I'm going to do some new renders tonight in hopes to clear up some visual confusion.

Fair enough. I suppose my main problem was that from the initial look, it appeared as if the top piece was too thick and covered the entire middle of the helmet/crown. After taking a second look, I see that I was mistaken and that it isn't as bulky as I originally thought. The issue I had was primarily with perspective from the frontal shot, not necessarily with the headpiece itself.

I do agree that it does give a more menacing look. I don't see it as much of a problem and actually, I may grow to like it, just as Plasma Ball below had.

thanks for the suggestions. We ended up covering most of the face to perhaps make him more menacing. The goal was to then give him glowing "magical" eyes to enhance the threatening look. However to achieve that look it meant copying the original face (which isn't usually apart of the helmet) and re-texturing it with the desired look. Silencers technical restrains are already pretty tight so we had to compromise so that we could achieve the look we wanted. I'll take a look at sizing the crown down a bit but I will admit I love it the way it is. From a silhouette perspective it still has the same shapes as the original which is what we was trying to achieve.

While I do like the set, this headpiece is a bit disconcerting for me. It seems to cover too much of the Silencer's face, as well as appear a bit too big for his body. I suggest slimming down the top of the crown and perhaps remove the faceguard as well. I do see how this can be a great piece for the set you made, and my criticisms may be exceedingly arbitrary, but I have them nonetheless. This isn't a major problem that really hampers the set as a whole, though it is one to consider.

Your set looks amazing except for this helmet. Please reconsider a better looking helmet.

Unique, at first I didn't really like it. But I think it has a style of it's own and shows it well.

I like your set, but helm looks bad for me + chest doesn't seem to differ much from original one in-game. Looks good at the preview though=)
