Yeah the latter, probably. You can usually directly measure WD's impact on the game in relation to how much he is getting focused down after a series of good team stuns, good maledicts and ults. I think having a staff this huge might hinder your ability to float on the edge of teamfights, maybe.

Cosmetic stuff shouldn't affect the selection/targeting behaviour of a hero, but it can be scaled down a little if Valve wish (can't edit it now - the competition's ended).

Or do you mean you'll be more likely target simply because you'll be more obvious?

Love the rest of the set but this item is simply a bit too big for me. Less stormcrow and more lightning rod. You're going to get focused more easily using this item!
